Personality: Mirage is very enthusiastic and arrogant. She is always optimistic, preferring to joke and laugh but has a serious side when it comes to others feelings. Learning that her mom was iris put a sense of purpose in Mirage to make the world a better place. She hates fighting and rather our and trick people then fight them. The fact that she wins most of her fights with deception which makes over confident thatvshe can trick people. She does have many fears however she tries to getvover them constantly. She loves feeling like she has a special connection with paranormal stuff, ghost stories, and possessions Intrigue her.
History: Mirage's mother Iris met Mirage's father Martin at a hippy house a place in Rhode Island where hippies meet and live. Her dad homeschooled her so she never made many friends other than hippies which made her more open about her feelings.
She didn't mind the way of at the house but she wished she had more freedom. At the house there was no doors and no secrets everyone was free to do what they wanted as long as they didn't hurt anyone. Mirage didn't mind the not hurting peoples feeling rule she actually liked it. But she couldn't get pass that there was no privacy. She loved everyone at the house as a family but more like an overprotective family. Martin believed that Iris was just a passing nomad and he courted he because he thought she was beautiful and the rule of free sex at the hippy house. After they did the deed Iris realized she was pregnant and she told Martin the truth about herself and how she was a goddess and that there child would have to go to Camp Half Blood when Maria got older.
Maria always lived in the hippy house and her father always called her "my little goddess" because no secrets where kept in the hippy house Martin told everyone about how Iris was a goddess, but everyone just thought he was saying that figuratively. Mirage got her nickname from always being tricky and making things look different then they were. She learned to be tricky from living in a house with no secrets, so she could get around having to tell the truth. One day her dad toke her on her first nomadic journey, and told her about her mom and how they were heading to camp half blood. He even explained her powers of photokenises and how she could manipulate light to make mirages hence giving her the nickname.
