An Unpredicted Encounter[CLOSED]

A large smile curls Kipp's lips upwards as Addeline says that they can be friends, and he beams happily. "M'glad to hear it, book lover." he says, his smile easily heard in his voice. He grins and nods as she says that she assumes that he's an extrovert. "That would be correct." he chuckles lightly. "What can I say, I love people, and they love me." he says with a jokingly cocky air to him. 

His eyebrows raise as the girl tells him the meal she would want to eat the rest of her life. "Wow, smart again, min-Athena." he comments with a light laugh, grinning at her. "Mine would include much more sweets and much less veggies." he jokes, his brown eyes glowing. 

His gaze sparks with interest at the other's next question, and he frowns slightly. "Wow, that's a hard one..." he says, eyebrows furrowing with thought. "I think I'd probably be the god of nature, or something like that, ya know? I don't know, I've just always loved spending time outside." he replies, flashing her a smile. "And I'd probably spend time in the magical world. I mean, I've got nothing against the mortal world, but I was nothing special until I found out about all this." he says, gesturing around them with a light chuckle. 

Running his tongue over his lips to moisten them, Kipp pauses a moment as he thinks of another question to ask the girl. "Alright, what three things would you want with you if you were stranded on a deserted island?" he finally asks, looking to Addeline with curiosity as he waits for a reply.

Kipp nods as Addeline replies to his question with yet another quite logical response. He could easily tell that she was a daughter of Athena, even if she hadn't told him so beforehand. No matter how much demigods try to deny it, it's usually obvious who their godly parent is. Take Kipp for example; if you've ever had a sleepover with him, you'll find he's always the first to go to sleep, and the last to wake up. And if he's woken up early...well, lets just say you better have a really good reason. 

He presses his lips together as the other asks him what he looks for in friends, as well as partners, and he takes a moment to consider it before replying. "Well, in a friend I appreciate honesty and trust. We should be able to tell each other anything, and trust that the other will understand and help. I like spending time with people who are laid-back, and who don't really gossip or hold grudges, or any of that silly drama. Someone who can make me laugh, too, and who don't take life too seriously." he tells her, offering a small grin.

"In a partner, personality wise, I look for many of the things I see in a friend, though of course there are others. I enjoy someone who's romantic. Someone who will do small things to show their love. I'd like someone who isn't afraid to share their emotions too, as it can be quite tiring to be in a relationship with someone who is always hiding their feelings." he explains, tilting his head slightly in thought. "Appearance wise, I don't have many demands. I mean, I find short hair attractive, and a little muscle doesn't hurt, but it's not like I won't date someone without those two things." he says.

Finishing with a small nod, the boy moves on to thinking of what he could ask Addeline. He has to admit, he's tempted to ask her the same answer, just to see how their two compare. "Alright then, same question to you." he finally says, deciding there's no "rule" against asking her the same question.

Kipp's brown eyes roll as Addeline jokes with him about stealing her question, and a light laugh slips through his lips. "What can I say, I'm no child of Athena, how can I be expected to come up with any good questions?" he replies with a cheeky grin, another small laugh leaving him. 

His smile fades as the girl begins to answer the question, nodding seriously to her reply. Her response makes sense, at least from what he knows of her so far. He's happy to know that her friend qualities seem to match up with his personality. He really does like the thought of becoming close friends with the girl.

Kipp frowns slightly as the other asks him what he loves in stories. It's a hard question, being as he doesn't exactly read many books, though he has always enjoyed a good campfire story or movie. "Well," he begins, still contemplating the question. "I suppose my favourite thing about stories would have to be the villains. I always love learning about them and their backstories and why they're evil, and basically just everything to do with villains." he explains, offering a large grin. 

The boy taps his fingers on his thigh as he pauses to think of what to ask her next, though the question comes to him quickly. "Who do you most admire in life?" he asks her, grinning with anticipation as he waits for her reply. 

Kipp can't help a small smile at Addeline replies with someone as simple as her father. He would have expected her to say someone like Einstein or Isaac Newton, and he finds pleasure in knowing that the person she admires most in life, is her father.

His smile fades as she mentions that her father was killed by a drunk driver, and he bows his head in respect. "I'm sorry to hear." he says sincerely. He may not have known her father, but he knows her, and he's sorry to think that the person she admires most, is dead.

He tilts his head to the side in thought at the girl's question, pressing his lips together. "Well..." he begins, twining his fingers together. "I like that even though I'm sort of a freak, I'm still half mortal, and I still get to experience things that mortals do. Like...well, like the taste of food, basically." he says, a light laugh slipping through his lips. "Then I suppose the bad thing about still remaining half-mortal, is really the fact that I have to deal with monsters, while not having full god-power to fight them with."  he explains. "Not to mention all the gods tend to hate you." he adds, grinning. 

"Alright ABL -Addeline the Book Lover," he says, chuckling lightly. "What is a skill you’d like to learn, and why?"

Kipp frowns slightly as Addeline replies with computer programming, and he nods his head up and down. He doesn't really understand why anyone would be interested in that. It sounds so complicated and time-consuming and...well, and boring.

He wrinkles his nose as the girl asks him what his favourite precious stone is, and a small laugh leaves him. It's such a weird question, and that's why he knows that him and Addeline will be good friends. Because she's the type of person to ask someone what their favourite precious stone is. 

"Well," he begins, chuckling lightly. "I suppose I'd have to say 
Ametrine. The colours are really beautiful and overall I just really love it." he explains, grinning. 

His chocolate brown eyes flicker up to the darkening sky and a small sigh leaves him. "Ahh it's getting late, we should be getting to our cabins." he says, his gaze going back to Addeline and a smile forming on his lips. "This was fun though. I'd love to hang out again another time." he beams, swinging his legs over the bench and standing up. 

"So I'll um, see you later?" he asks, looking down at the girl and grinning his lopsided grin.

(sorry for the slow replies, life's been hectic with exams and everything! I'd love to roleplay Addeline and Kipp another time <3 I think they could be good friends!)
