I've read some other people's character things and your constructive criticism on them, so before I start I just want to notify you on how much I suck at this kind of stuff.
Name - Mira Levine
Age - thirteen
Description/Playby - Cloe Grace-Moretz
Sexuality - Bisexual
Olympian Parent - Hecate
Mortal Parent - Shawn Levine (deceased)
Personality - Mira is a fun-loving girl, but she does have many flaws. She's clumsy and a horrible drawer, to name two of them, and she's definitely not the most responsible daughter of Hecate in the world, but she doesn't give up easily. Her fatal flaw is that she doesn't know when to retreat and is almost Nemesis-like in revenge. However, she's not a total klutz. Her hobbies are learning about magic (Harry Potter is a hero times ten in her book) and camping. She has a habit of chewing gum (it's a very valuable habit, she argues, and not as bad as a habit of drowning in a lake), and she loves reading. She likes writing as well, though she admits that she's not good at it, but she enjoys it. She also enjoys listening to music, like Miranda Lambert (daughter of Apollo) and Carrie Underwood (daughter of Apollo). Her pet peeves are steak (she's allergic to it) and vegetables, which puts her in a natural rival with Demeter's cabin. However, despite all of her faults, she is quite good with magic, is a fairly good singer, and is a natural with cooking. Her pumpkin pie is very well done. As stated above, she loves to have fun and is easy to make friends with.
History - Mira's father, Shawn, was very much into hypnosis and magic. He started out in Oklahoma, but became a traveling magician with the circus, but he kept bouncing around circuses because he was into alcohol. He would play it good for a few months or a year or so, but he would always fall back into the trap. The reason of this was because he met Hecate in one of his shows. They were in a good relationship for awhile, but she left him with a baby, which affected him so much that he started drinking when Mira was three. He fell lower and lower in debt, and while he rarely had any money for himself and his kid, Mira Levine, he always seemed to have enough money for another beer. For this reason Mira was kept out of school until the age of ten, when Social Security placed Mira in a foster care in Tennessee and Shawn in jail.
Mira started school, and it went fairly well. She only had one or two friends, and they had their own section of a table where they'd laugh and talk the lunch hour away, and sometimes they'd barely even touch their food. They mostly got A's, but sometimes their grades dropped as low as to a C-... although that was mostly in algebra. After a while, though, Mira's friends started abusing her fondness of them. Worse of all, Mira's foster parents announced that they were moving away and couldn't keep her, as she was their only child and they were moving on business and they couldn't have children with them.. This was a very bad blow to poor Mira, for she had come to adore their cat, Fluffy. She met her new foster folks, but they were mean and abusive, so with a sad good-bye to her school, Mira ran away at the age of twelve.
While Mira was on the run, she discovered that odd... creatures were chasing her. An odd woman led her to an alleyway lit by torches, where Mira picked up an empty pack of chewing gum. When she opened the pack, it turned into a Celestial Bronze knife, and so she fended for herself until she fell, half-dead, at the borders of Camp Half-blood. The day after that was her thirteenth birthday, and she was claimed at the dinner ceremony by flaming torches. She was truly a daughter of Hecate. Soon after that, she received news that her father was dead. Mira felt no remorse for the old drunk, because she was happy at her new home. However, since her early-on friend experiences, she has never trusted people as easily again. She is looking forward to finding new friends at Camp and having an all-around awesome time!
Weapons - her pack of chewing gum that turns into a knife, and Celestial Bronze perfume that an Aphrodite girl gave her for a birthday present... two sprays and the monster is dead.
Abilities - Mira can control the Mist and is quite good at casting spells. She can also levitate objects... to an extent.
