Personality: Felix is a bit of a narcissist, almost walks around like he's god. Some say he's trouble because he practically grew up without his mother. Say he doesn't have discipline. Which could be true. Felix is flirtatious, although it's usually very subtle. A kid who doesn't take life seriously and just floats on by, having no direct goals in life. He's far from shy and can easily approach people. He's also very honest, and can be brutally honest. If you asked him if you looked fat in what you were wearing and he thought so, he'd say so. Girl friends, no matter what, well, unless they don't like it, he'll come them babe and guy friends, he constantly refers to as dudes. Felix loves music, usually metal of a sort. Before he came to camp he had a band called Ithomiid. In the band, he was the lead guitarist, so he lugged it along to camp with him. Ghost stories are a fascination of his. Although he hates listening to them, he loves to tell them and scare the crap out of people. Night time is his favorite and will wander around at night, also because he has insomnia. Although he is the son of Hypnos, even the powers can't override this insomnia. His mothers was bad. Not to mention, the powers cannot control the depression he'd gained over being abused and the loss of his mother. Although the powers make it bearable, and not as bad as maybe a normal insomniac, it could not completely erase it. With his depression, which he started feeling and showing symptoms in was when he was 14. At first, he disregarded it as just a low point in his life. But seeing how it got worse and dark thoughts would enter his mind, he, for awhile, cut everybody off. Beth obviously took notice and asked him about it. At first, he was reluctant, he didn't want to burden her, and honestly, he just didn't want to talk about things. After much persistence from Beth, he told her everything. Immediately he was taken to a therapist.
History: Felix was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. His mother Beth and him lived with her abusive boyfriend. Not only did he abuse his mother, but he abused Felix as well. Felix still has scars on his back from being hit with a belt buckle. Since Felix seemed to cause quite a bit of trouble, like getting caught smoking on school grounds or swearing at teachers, he'd obviously get detention. Every time he did, he was hit and abused. Beth was always there for him, cleaning the wounds and comforting him. The only reason she stayed with him was because she didn't want them to be out on the streets. So she bared with it for the sake of having a roof over their heads and food on the table. Beth died when Felix was 15 years old from her boyfriend beating her to death. Felix made a run for it. A Satyr found him a couple months later, Grey (I worked this out with nirv. Yeah.), afterwards they became pretty tight and Grey was able to bring him to the camp. So far a few months he just stuck with that. His condition did not worsen, but it hardly bettered itself. After awhile, his mom decided to up things up a bit and got pills for him. Now, he refers to them as his happy pills. Luckily, he usually doesn't forget to take it in the morning but when he does forget he spends the day mopey, spacing himself from others. On days he does take it, he's his normal self, per say. Depression definitely has had an affect on him and his personality. Even when he does take his pills, he is known to be super narcissistic (More then usual) and stomp on people he doesn't like, bringing them down and being a total jerk. Relationships, well, for the other party member, they may feel super close, but Felix is still untrusting of them and apprehensive. To be truly close, one for surely has to be committed to showing that they truly care. He himself, well, he doesn't really push people away but he doesn't make an effort to get truly close to them.
Beth and Hypnos met when Beth was at a hospital, getting her sleep monitored. Since she was having trouble breathing in her sleep and sometimes had insomnia. How Hypnos got into her hospital room was unknown but his mother woke up to a man, Hypnos in her room. Let's just say they hit it off.
