"I'm not asking you to betray anyone. I know why you mean. I would never turn on my brother and sisters. But I just don't think the gods should have so much power. Listen, I know that this might sound weird but you remind me of a friend I had once and I just thought it would be cool to hang around with you."

I looked at her and waited for her response.

This girl was smart I wonder if she was Athena's kid. She knew how to haggle. But she forgot that I'm a natural born con man. I guess now would be as good as a time as any to try to use my persuasion skills. I have only used it once successfully. Lets try to go for two I told myself.

"Alright listen carefully. I know that every kid of a god has resentment for the gods deep down in their hearts. Huntresses included. Think about it. You guys are invincible unless you're in a battle. What about Artemis? She is invincible during battle why couldn't she give you invincibility during battle? Ares does with his kids. You know why she doesn't? Because she recognizes that you guys are potentially vey powerful. Maybe even stronger than her. That's why she does these small things to hold you down. Ever think about it that way? That what Charlie wants is equality amongst everyone..."

I let this sink in for a moment. I slowly positioned my hand on one of my daggers in case I needed to fight this girl.

"All right look I'm running out of options. I don't want to end this here because you and I both know that your a force to be reckoned with."

I moved closer to the girl so that we were almost face to face.

"But so am I."

I shook my head at the girl. She WAS smart. But yet she still had much more to learn. I contemplated this for a while and decided not to provoke the fight. I simply backed away from here.

"Liste here little miss huntress this definitely isn't done..... I'll.... I'll be in touch."

I walked away and climbed my tree and waited in the branch as I watched her.
