Why is it always me ( open for all)

POV Alpha Verum

I pulled an arrow from my quiver and launched it at the minotaurs eye. It hit it next to the eye. Pretty good shot for a daughter of Aletheia.

I'd just been chilling around walking around when this huge minotaur came to hang around my relaxing spot. I had fled into a tree and lost my shoes in doing so. No worries, I go bare-feet more often.

Then there was this african american boy running into the woods. Suddenly he had armour, like magic. Maybe he was a son of Hecate, but he was more a son of Ares type of boy.

From my save tree I launched a second arrow to the huge monster, making it turn my way. 'Di Immortales!' I called out as it came running my direction. Quick! I decided making a run for it would be the most save thing to do. Though it was unnecessary, the boy called to the monster, making it focus on him. I was ready to shoot some more arrows as well.

I was just walking in the forest while playing Fire Emblem: Awakening. Here were no annoying campers asking me what I was playing every two seconds.
  "Hey, I've heard of this! It's called amnesia!"
  "It's called a load of pegasus dung. We're to believe you remember milord's name, but not your own?"
  "Hey, you got any ideas?" wait a minute... That wasn't from the game...

I put my 3ds on standby and stored it in my bag. I looked up and saw a guy and girl standing/sitting in a tree a few metres away from me, there was a minotaur as well.
WAIT, THERE WAS A MINOTAUR?! I froze where I stood. I'd been at camp for what? a week? and I already got to fight a monster!

Call me stupid but I joined them instead of running back to camp, I activated my arm so to turn it into a crossbow. *rip* Great, this was already the third shirt I broke by forgetting to roll up my sleeve first.
  "I'm Dax. What are its stats?" my head was still stuck in Fire Emblem: Awakening; I doubt they could see how much HP it had or how well its attack and defence was. Although it would've been far more easy to fight monsters if that were the case.

I aimed at its head and awaited for either of the two to respond, for all I knew it could reflect arrows so that they would hit you instead.

A boy came to help us, or rather was forced into this fight. Je was playing in a ds. He casually stored it in his backpack until he saw the minotaur staring at him. He froze, probably blown away by what he saw. No here's the strange part; he ripped his shirt because he took of his arm. Then again it wasn't his arm but a crossbow. Maybe he was a son of Hephaestus or he got it from one of them but that arm was definitely not made by a normal mortal. I was so surprised and scared with the arm ripping I almost fell from my tree. He then asked for its stats. Either he was really new or stuck in his game or a combination of those.

'Well, Dax, its stats are he's a little mad and capable of killing us all quite easily. Go for it!' I aimed at the monster's furry back. The arrow flew away and impaled the skin. Agitated he turned to me again.

That's when the game of "HEY FURRY COW HEAD HERE! slash sword, arrow. HOLY COW YOU NEED TO SHAVE! Another arrow and sword strike" started. We kind of took turns with getting its attention and using our weapons. I wished that I'd refilled my quiver because after five times I had ran out of arrows. What now? Beta? No, he'd get hurt, or broken.

I think the Minotaur had noticed I had no arrows anymore because the next moment I found myself falling out of my tree. I yelled out and desperately tried to take hold of something. When I fell on the ground I somehow managed to roll out of the way. With my eyes wide open I stared at the small crater where the Minotaur had slammed his fist down, just a couple of seconds after I'd been on that exact spot. 'Oh my Gods!' I blurted out as I crawled backwards and stood up to run to the unknown boy and Dax. 'Oh-oh...' I said as the Minotaur slowly turned to face our way. 'Jump away on the last second, scatter!'

I nodded to show that I understood the boy.
Then I faced the girl, she seemed better at archery than I, so I threw the arrows I had left at her and continued fighting using the hidden blade of my arm.

The minotaur was still stunned at the tree and I climbed on its back like how the guy from Shadow of the Colossus always does, then I stabbed its eye with my sword.
It was partly blinded and started shaking it's head; since the blade-part of my arm was still in its eye and I couldn't get it out it shook me as if I were a ragdoll.
"KLEREBEEST! LAAT ME GAAN! [Let me go you foul creature!]", this situation reminded me of how I entered camp: my blade being stuck in a monsters head. "HÉ! WETEN JULL- [Hey! Do you guys kno-]" Oops, that was Dutch, but it didn't matter anyway; the beast had grabbed my legs, lifting me in the air. I think it was pretty clear that I needed help getting out of there. But luckily rhe minotaur was stupid enough to hold me next to a tree, so the others were granted a great position of both helping me and taking out its other eye.

I did not know what they were doing in that tree but I couldn't worry about it now. The minotaur only had one eye but it's other senses were better anyway. I took a deep breath and looked at my surroundings. I then took a stick and threw it between 3 trees that made a loud echo sound. I then yelled as loud as I could at the other two "RUN NOW".

Dear Mr.Minotaur, we politely ask you to give us a freaking break. We don't want to die! I had been running as fast as I could when Dax called out that Mr.Minotaur had returned from his little stroll in the forest, chasing after delicious halfbloods, or what he didn't know, not so very delicious sticks.

'Try running in zigzag patterns to make him bump into trees.' If the nymphs had heard me they'd be mad, it wouldn't be funny. Making monsters bump into trees, they would appreciate that. Wait, where are my thoughts going? 'Beta, run buddy, just go and don't break down please!' I called to him, he bolted away. I could hear the noise of gears clicking, I would have to ask a Hephaestus child to check out which of his many gears was making that noise. Normally he was a quiet automaton, no click noises at all.

Dax and the boy were team working and the Minotaur was about to crash into a tree. Instead it decided completely uprooting the thing by going straight trough it was a way better idea. Uh-oh, bad news...
I sprinted towards a pine tree and yelled out 'HEY!' The Minotaur charged and bolted towards me. I jumped away but he spread his arms, causing me to trip on the last second. I tumbled, or more or less rolled and made somersaults down the little hill on which the tree grew and was stopped by a big rock. My head bumped into it and I made a failed somersault again. My legs flew up and flopped on the floor again. I shook my head and rubbed my hand against the back of it. My hair had fallen on my face so all I saw was a wall of red curls. 'Ouch...' I stood up and pushed some of my hair out of my face. Alpha, you do have way too much hair to go around making somersaults and expect to see stuff afterwards. I shook my head again, and almost lost balance in doing so.

I saw the Minotaur coming at me again. And I also noticed my bow, it was next to the pine tree, lucky for me unharmed. I jumped aside and the Minotaur crashed into the stone. I sprinted up the hill, snatched my bow and ran away again.
