Age: 43

Height: 6’3
History: Adam Lebanchesky’s past is a cold and cruel one, but not every story starts out that way. Like every one Adam was born with a blank slate and his problems didn’t start until he reached the age of twenty. Raised in Soviet Russia, Adam was a true patriot for his homeland, going as far as hating western civilization based off no reason besides government propaganda. At the age of eighteen he was married to the love of his life and was the happiest he had ever been. But like the start of many Greek tragedies, his happiness could not last. His wife, while picking flowers in a meadow, was bitten by a rare venomous viper, treatment for which was not available in the Soviet Union at the time. The Lebanchesky’s in Russia were a wealthy family with many connections, and they soon found a cure available. The only problem was the medical expert who could treat Adam’s wife was in the U.S. Russian customs would not allow any person outside of the U.S.S.R into Russian territory, despite numerous bribes, and soon Adam’s wife died from the bite, two years after their marriage.
This left Adam distraught and confused. The country he was led to believe was superior to all others, would not help him when he needed them most. After a year of mourning, a cold hatred developed within Adam. He developed a belief that the Russian government was corrupt and unjust and so left for the U.S., vowing not to return to his homeland again until he had enough power to over through and re-conform his beloved country. Entering the U.S. through unsanctioned means, Adam used his family’s wealth and name to come into contact with other Russian mobsters already present in several separate states. The Russian mobster themselves had established themselves as a largely unknown but powerful crime syndicate with a hidden attempt to overthrow the U.S. government through crime and corruption. The organization gave Adam access to many means to help build an empire, and Adam chose to start in the city of Chicago, Illinois. The city, already polluted with corruption, violence, and overall crime, seemed as good as any starting ground for the young crime lord. Several years later, Adam broke away from his connections with the Russian Mob and became the one and only power in the Chicago region. The streets of Chicago were inhabited by the presence of Lebanchesky and his gang. Crime was down to an all-time low, the only kind being conducted by Lebanchesky and his underlings. In the underworld Adam had made a name for himself for being fair and holding up all his promises. However, that name also carried the weight of never crossing a Lebanchesky. Anyone who broke a deal underwent the cruel torture of Zamochit, the process of breaking every bone in the body ending with the neck. The way Adam dealt Justice and Vengeance swiftly attracted the attention of the God Nemesis, who gave birth to Adam’s first son Tyler and as well as opened his eyes to the Greek world.
The Greek world intrigued Adam, and after he heard of the power his son may have, he decided to pursue knowledge of the Greek world searching for more power. Thus he ran into Tyche and his second child, Sarah, was born. Returning to Chicago, Adam continue to further build his criminal empire and made a public façade for himself as well. Adam began to create a public view for himself as a business man, with his business being conducted in anything from medical needs to weaponry and machine parts. As a successful and charming fellow, Adam gained the respect of many of his peers as well as the city government. Becoming fast friends with the city governor, Adam nearly had complete control of the city and was not about to slow down, he was not even close to being happy.
Years later, after gaining interest in many major surrounding cities, such as Detroit, Indianapolis, etc. and a few months after his children began attending Camp Half Blood, Adam began to turn his attention back to the Greek world. As everyone knows, the quickest way to gain power is through a deal with the devil and so Adam attempted to contact Hades… and was successful. At first Adam asked for his lost love to be returned to him but Hades declined. Under no pretense was he going to return a mortal to the world of the living. So Adam, asked for the next best thing; power. Intrigued, Hades listened to Adam as he explained his plans to overthrow the mortal world, and become the sole power of the Earth. Believing he can use Adam to his advantage in getting rid of the menace known as Charlie, Hades granted Adam his wish but at the cost of a high price. Adam had to forfeit his soul as well as the souls of his children. Now since neither of his kids were eighteen yet, Adam, acting as full parental guardian, was able to make such a deal without his kids permission. In return Hades granted Adam the power to see through the mist as well an ancient artifact that let Adam control the monsters of Hades. With a full army at his back, Adam is ready to take over the world.
But then, Adam comes across the fellow named Charlie. At first, Adam was unimpressed, viewing Charlie as only a child and not a true threat to anyone. Then Adam heard Charlie’s plan. Charlie explained his control of the fates and why the gods wanted to be rid of him so bad, and this intrigued Adam to no end. Charlie offered to make Adam a deal. Betray Hades, loan his undead monster army to Charlie, help him capture and train demi-gods, and in turn, Adam will gain control of the mortal world while Charlie would rule the immortal world. Charlie wasn’t only interested in Adam’s monster army however, but also in Adam’s massive wealth of income, resources, and connections to the mortal world. With both sides seeing the benefit of an alliance, they came to terms and now are working together to control the world.
Personality: The best way to describe Adam is as a sociopath; however, a sociopath who understands he is a sociopath and uses it to his advantage. Handsome, charming, witty, and confident the appearance he puts on for those he is looking to impress is absolute, no mortal is able to see past the outer surface. Actually the best way to describe Adam would be in layers. The first layer is as described above; the perfect man that everyone would like to know. The second layer is for the people who believe they know this beloved anarchist personally. The key word there being believe. For his closer business partners and “friends” Adam shares with them some of his personal life, letting them believe they know Adam personally. They see him as someone who has endured hardships, but as overcome them and risen to the top. However, those first two layers are just a disguise; anyone who has seen those two layers do not really know the real Adam Lebanchesky.
The next layers represent his true self. The criminal mastermind planning planetary anarchy. The third layer is what is more commonly known among his crime syndicate ring leaders. Cold, brutal, unforgiving to his enemies and is feared by all of them, Adam is vicious and unrelenting in his hunt for power. Yet, he inspires confidence and high moral among his employee’s. He treats them well and always upholds his promises, in return for their everlasting loyalty. He does not hold well with traitors and no matter how much you may have meant to him or the organization before, you will undergo a slow and painful death at his hands if ever caught by him. His fourth layer is shown only when he is alone and by himself.
This layer is an intellectual and conspiracy theorist. He is very untrusting of what is said through propaganda, truth or lies, and uses whatever he learns to his advantage. At this fourth layer is also when he acknowledges he is a monster, but accepts it. He realizes all the terrible things he has and, at his worst, becomes emotional about it. This last only a few minutes, this feeling of regret, before he manages to convince himself that what he is doing is right and for his greater good. His ultimate goal is to one day bring back his life, who he felt was wrongly taken from him.
