Just the two of us, for now

I only now noticed that her boots were still on her feet and it seemed like she hadn't moved at all since I fell asleep yesterday. But I could be wrong. 'Normally they show you around once you arrive but sure, I'll show you around, this place will probably and well, hopefully be your home for quite some time and it's nice to know your way around your home I think.' I said as I finished tying my shoelaces. I ran my hand trough my hair and a blue purple hair came off, I shook my hand but it stuck, I noticed that the other hairs kind of pointed to my hand so I brought it closer to my hair and noticed that if  I moved my hand the hairs would follow.

This had me confused but then I realized that this is what static energy does to hair, good morning Ren, I never had this problem before so was not sure what I was planning on doing when I snapped my finger, probably looking really confused. A spark came of, and that fixed it, my hair was no longer stalking my hair like me when I was hungry and people had food. Speaking of food, my belly made a weird noise.

'My hair doesn't usually do that, but my belly does do that more often, we should probably get some food and then I'll show you around.' I said as I quickly ran my brush trough my hair. I put on my jewelery and softly hit my legs with my hands, unsure what to do. 'I guess we can go.' I walked towards the door and opened it, the sun was shining though it wasn't that warm outside, it was a nice morning, it was usually a nice morning, we hardly ever have rainy and cold mornings, not that I minded, don't get me wrong here.

I saw a group of Apollo campers, those people were always so happy in the morning, once the sun was up. Probably because that's their dad, just an estimated guess. I could hear them softly singing a song together. I smiled as I recognized the song and waved at them. I said good morning to the other campers that were also heading towards the dining pavilion, pointing at groups of campers, telling Myu which cabin they were from, and some of the names.

Once at the pavilion we sat down at the Zeus table, I explained to her how eating here worked, that you had to drop part of your food in the fire, to keep the Gods and Goddesses up there happy or just because you want to thank them, you could pick any reason, it just had to be done. Then on how to get the actual food on your plate, just imagine it and it'd get on your plate. That is one of my favorite things, no matter how weird, you can eat it here. I'm still wondering how it really works but I guess I might never know. My plate was now filled with French toast and I scraped a part of it in the fire as I whispered a couple of words to my dad, then returned to our table.

'If you don't mind maybe you could tell me how you got here? Oh and also, do you always sleep with your boots on, like Nothing will attack us in our cabin, I thought that too but Luke assured me that no such thing would happen.'
