Aaron felt a little uncomfortable, but did his best."No, Addy, it wasn't your fault."He tried to say gently."A relationship takes two, and Exley is just as to blame as you are. Yes, it's sad, but you'll see him again. Besides, if you're really not sure whether he's here or not, I can cover for you and you can do...whatever couples do."

"Let's talk about something else."He tried, walking over to the kitchen and ladling out two bowls of soup with toast as he walked back, placing one by his sister's nightstand. Aaron took a sip, then placed his bowl down.

"Whoa, easy there."Aaron surrendered, putting his hands up."I can only process so much. I know Eliza's...doing her thing, I don't really know Nirvana, since our schedules are a bit wonky (Cough, we never follow them though the creation of them is much admired and appreciated, cough)and I don't really know the others. At all. Seriously."

"I'm pretty sure we scale trees, keep plants from dying, draw, sketch, ride, try to follow our schedules, read, follow a hobby-seriously. What we do to try to be happy during these cold winter months. I think I went through half of the dummies in the arena today imaging faces. And my trip was fine. I hailed a cab, prayed for no monsters really hard, had a small creepy thing (why do these thing exist? what type of people do our parents have children with?) attack, tried not to die, bribed the cab driver, and walked the rest of the way while my sword was out. I think that old couple thought I was some kind of burglar..."

"It was only half a mile, and I had everything under control at the moment. To an extent."He joked, clearing the plates. He tossed them in the dishwasher and started it, trying to open a cabinet at the same time. As a small vial tumbled out, he grasped it and handed it to Addy, saying,"Medicine.."

He smiled at the Alice in Wonderland reference when he noticed a small DRINK ME tag on the otherwise mark-free container.

Aaron threw up his hands."Fine then."He surrendered, giving up and rolling his eyes. There was just no fighting against his stubborn, strong-willed sister, was there? The son of Demeter would have said it out loud, but there was no point in the pot calling the kettle black right now."But seriously? What do you have against Alice in Wonderland? Have you even read the book?"

"I'm still leaving it here."He told her, placing the bottle on her nightstand.

"So...I'm bored."He remarked plaintively, pulling out his handy journal. With a chisel-tip sharpie, he began to make jagged, distinct letters of the greek alphabet. Alpha. Beta. Alpha-Bet. Alphabet. The first and second letters. Soon after, he pulled out a thin silver sharpie, coloring in the little letters with tiny zentangles. "What do you usually do during the holidays here? I mean, apart from getting sick."

He poked the cap onto a sharpie, almost tempted to start drawing on the walls. On second thought, that seemed like a really good idea. Seriously. The demigod began to head towards the wall, but then turned to Addison. Addy. Whatever."I am seriously dying in boredom right now, so unless you'd like me to start singing Disney and doodling on the walls, I could realize your help in doing something. Right now. Please?"He tried.

(OOC: Oh my gods, I am so sorry-I swear, midterms are out to get me. And V-Day is coming soon, so I can't get into the Christmassy feeling [which is, understandably, epic] and just-chaos. Did you know that baking for 60 people is hectic? I will never look the same way at an egg again. Ever. Sorry, baking rant. I didn't mean all that-Aaron does still love sweets. But maybe not me. "What about the book?" Aaron raised an eyebrow as he puttered around his desk, trying to find the cup of strong black coffee he knew he put somewhere, then found it lying on his nightstand. Raising his cup to his lips, he drank a sip or two, letting the strong black liquid flow past his lips, almost scorching. He'd found a tiramisu recipe that was alcohol-free and delicious, so maybe he'd try his hand at it. The oven was temperamental here, though, and probably...

"You wanna play?"

"Chess?" He quietly corrected Addison mentally (he could call her whatever he wanted in his mind), nodding externally. He probably needed a break from just awkwardly hanging around, anyways. "Sure. I warn you, though. I'm terrible and I don't know how to play checkers. I'll take black."

He set up the board from his side, taking a seat at the low table near their beds (Where did that come from?) and fingered his pieces patiently, waiting for Addison's move. "Addy, white starts." He grimaced a little at the nickname.
