I grinded my teeth together. This girl was really pushing her luck and my buttons. I had half a mind to impale her with my dagger. But the only thing that saved her was that we needed her. Well that and how damn cute she looked. I took a deep breath.

"Look girly i dont take demands lightly. Especially when theyre from someone i could easily snap in half. Listen I can't promise you those kinds of things. I swear you've screwed up so bad. First you lead this chick here then you start demanding things. No. It doesn't work that way. I could have you and your little friend dead in the snap of my fingers. These woods are filled with guards so I say that you lose the rude and start talking with some smarts."

Something that Chelsea said made Lucy think. "How about both?" Lucy yelled as she soaked Lani into a tree holding her there. "We are to hunters of Artemis ONE of us could take you down in a minute, or at least hold you off for five. Giving time for the rest of the hunt to track us, they know when I go missing its no big deal but when TWO people go missing..an investigation is put in place. Being hunters they could track us down no longer than a minute, which is plenty of time for just ONE of us to hold you off. Not to mention that we are skilled archers and can hit a target from at least 50meters away. And don't try that 'I have people hidden in the woods' shit with me I took down 5 of your men and the other 3 I saw tied them up. What about you Chelsea? Lani did you really think I would come here without a plan. I told Sandra that if I didn't Iris message her in the hour to track me down and bring back up, that was 45 minutes ago. Do you really want 62 arrows pointed at your head in the next 6 minutes?" Lucy knew she had Lani now. "Give me what I want. I learn from my mistakes, I'm no goddesses. You should know that better than anyone" Lucy said referring to their last encounter.

I looked at Lucy and nodded, "Shall we?" I said. So tacky. So not like a demigod. But I liked it. I stood next to Lucy. We both looked strong, confident and fierce.

Lani looked just about the opposite. She was twitching, and I could tell she was mad. I was glad she was mad. That just makes this moment even funnier. I smiled slyly and looked over to Lani.

Lucy bit her lip, this was the moment if she said no she could back out if she said yes there might be no going back. But they needed her they needed the Hunters of Artemis, she was never going to fully commit to Charlie though. Lucy needed to get her demands and she needed Charlie to like her, more than Lani. "Take us there, but we keep are weapons" Lucy told Lani. Lucy then took out a bottle of potion that someone in the Hecate made for her. It is suppose to calm her mind and make it harder for Charlie yo take over her mind. Lucy took a couple of gulps and handed the rest to Chelsea, Lucy had encounter mind tricks many times before she had started to get an immunity to them but she took a couple of sips just incase.

I sipped a liquid that Lucy gave me. I had no idea what it was, but as soon as I drink it I felt relaxed and in control. I obeyed and followed Lani. As we were walking I saw guards. They were everywhere. I decided if we had to fight, it was going to be a sticky situation.

I started to grind my teeth when she stated the comment about her age. I'm the only one around here who's allowed to be a smart ass. This girl was so much like me but yet I didn't like her. But then again..... And her friend wasn't any better. I suddenly stopped. You know that feeling you get when someone's staring at you like really hard. Yeah I got that and my body shivered. I turned my head to look at the two girls and it stopped instantly. I walked and walked until we reached the hotel.

"Now this is your chance to turn back this is your chance to save your lives. This is your chance to continue on without a worry in the world."
