Leo's Entrance Part 2 (Children of Athena)

(Is this for all children of Athena or just the Derin and Leo? ^^ Just asking~)

I was really nervous and hoping this was the right table, and then a guy,which I figured was derin,if this was the right table, came over,blood covered his shirt,however he looked unpained,so I guessed he was healed now,then he asked who I was as if I wasn't supposed to be here,and I was quiet nervous cause I might've been at the wrong table... but I hoped I wasn't,"Um...I'm Leo...son of Athena..."I said quietly, but loud enough for him to hear."This IS the Athena table right?"I asked,he looked stunned were boy children of Athena really THAT rare,man that was surprising.

I saw the excitement in the now confirmed derin,or my newfound idiot brother, that makes two of us!Then he started to look pained and I understood he wasn't fully healed,"Hey that blood stain hurt?"I asked trying to somewhat bring up the topic. I was very glad to know I was indeed in the right place, thankfully.
He held out his hand to shake,but I preferred fist bump,so I held out my hand in that formation,"I think brothers usually do more fist bump,correct?"I asked sarcastically,it was definitely a fun time,especially after my sudden arrival here...that wasn't to fun,but this,this was great.
He asked for my age and I noticed his eyes were on my hair,which wasn't blonde...anymore, since I had dyed it black, but if you focused on it you could see the natural blonde color in some places,"I see you noticed my hair colors not blonde, I dyed it black,just because,and I'm 14 now,names Leo by the way,Leo Elliot."I said and then wondered about the other siblings as I saw a girl walk up to the table.

I nodded. Makes sense, people with blonde hair tend to get picked on for being dumb. Luckily, I somehow got dirty blonde hair, so I haven't had to take any of that. Alyssa walked up and sat next to me and said hi to us. I grinned and said, "Hey sis." and bumped her slightly with my shoulder. I haven't seen her in a while, so it was nice to. She mentioned her name and age to Leo and I noticed I hadn't said my age. "Oh, I'm 16 as well." When Alyssa stuck her hand out to shake. I stifled a laugh, I reached my hand out and closed hers into a fist. "We're siblings." I said winking at Leo.

POV: Quintyn Avilov

I had spent the entire morning doing activities, but when it came to the boring ones like Mythology class I was out. In the period we had to get to our classes I had decided to slip away to go see Dean in the forest. He liked it when I came to visit him... Plus, I had to give him back the flannel shirt he had let me borrow that I had taken on my quest.
Long story short, I had lost track of time and now I was late for lunch. I walked at a steady pace, hoping no one would notice me too much if I walked into the dining hall. Mr.D and Chiron didn't appreciate campers being late much.
I neared the pavilion and wondered what a good approach would to be. I decided to walk in like there was nothing wrong. That wasn't much of a plan, but it could work, right?

The buzz of campers speaking with their half-siblings got louder and louder as I got closer and closer. I was actually pretty excited to see my siblings again, I hadn't realized how much I missed them.
I walked through the doors and scanned the room. At the front, Chiron was intent on his Turkey dinner-lunch, while Mr.D stared frustratingly at a glass of Diet Coke. What a drunk... I said to myself with a small grin.
Deciding that the coast was clear enough I made my way to grab a tray and walked with my head held high to my Cabins table.
Derin and Alyssa sat next to each other, facing their backs to me. I also noticed a new guy sitting among my siblings. He had black hair, so my first instinct was to question why he was sitting at our table. I decided to ignore him at first, placing my priorities on my sister and brother.
"Hey guys!" I said, setting my tray on the table and wrapping both arms around them and pulling them into an awkward group hug, before looking up to the guy that sat across from them. I noticed now that he shared the trade-mark Athena-child grey eyes as the rest of us did, and wondered if mom was going to suddenly change up how she created us in her minds to give us black hair.
"Who're you?" I asked directly, raising an eyebrow at him curiously and gave him my usual intimidating-Quintyn-Avilov stare as I looked him up and down. He looked a bit uncomfortable, and oh how I enjoyed watching others be uncomfortable. His clothing combination of choice was rather odd, but I did deduct that he was a music lover, especially for rock. I could get down with that. I myself wore a band t-shirt this afternoon, walking around proudly with the Led Zeppelin logo draped across my chest. To match I wore ripped up black jeans and my favourite pair of army boots.
I waited for his reply, still draped in between my sister and brother with my arms around their shoulder.

Alyssa grinned as she fistbumped Derin and her new brother Leo. She began eating her mashed 'taters, which were actually quite divine but still reminded her of that food fight a few weeks ago. Looking over, she saw her sister Quintyn approach the table. "Hey, Quintyn! Glad you're back! It wasn't the same without you in the cabin." She pulled in to the awkward hug of Athena children and commented/congratulated her sister on her heroic journey.
Listening to Derin's comment on the band t-shirt thing, she realized the three other siblings were wearing band shirts. "Ah, I usually do wear my Camp shirt 80% of the time."
Glancing over at Derin's wound, she looked up at him quickly again. "Are you sure you're okay? We can bring your food to you in the infirmary.." She said quietly.

I hadn't noticed Derin's injury before he had flinched at the contact of my hug. I looked down to see his arm soaked with blood. Had he even had that thing stitched up? Ambrosia alone couldn't help a cut that bled that much. Besides, wasn't he worried about it festering?
"Shit dude, sorry," I said, standing up straight and taking my weight off his shoulders. "Have you gone to the infirmary yet? How'd you even get that? Why are you here and not seeing an Apollo kid?" I knew a total of two Apollo children. One was incredibly talented in medicine... The other, well, she had been teaching him, but he wasn't like his sister. At least the skill came sort of naturally to him. I knew he was watching over the infirmary for her while she was at Dean's cabin. I had left her there to look after Finn and promised to bring her back some food. While I'd rather Roxy take care of my brother, Fletch had done a great job at taking care of the Nymphs and Satyrs while we were gone, and I couldn't say I didn't trust him with my siblings lives.
"You should get that checked out again, man," I urged. "It's probably not healthy to have it bleeding so much. Come on, we can help you to the infirmary."

In all of the excitement about suddenly learning that my brothers abdomen was cut open and oozing black-red blood, Leo's introduction had almost gone over my head. I had managed to retain his words though, which brought my steely grey gaze back over to him.
"Well, welcome to the cabin," I said, giving him another once over with my eyes, just to make sure I hadn't missed anything about him. It was too soon to tell much, but I knew I'd have him all figured out like the back of my hand in no time. I really did love that skill of mine. I looked back to Derin, waiting to see if he was going to be smart about his injury, or try and act like a tough guy. If he was gonna act like a tough guy, I was dragging him to Fletch by his feet.
