Personality: Eva is patient and open minded. She would always try to find a good way of doing things however she never seems to show it and would follow most to other peoples examples. When it came to her brother she would always stay by his side. In a way she felt safest next to him in the large world around them. If it wasn't him then it was their mother whom of course wasn't with them. All of her decision making would go straight to Lisandro. She would make some kind of opinion to see if they could make it easier for them. Some of her hobbies include exercise, book reading and, nature watching. Some examples of things that Eva hates would be nosey people, drunk/obnoxious people and, most of all messy living quarters. When it came to seeing messy living quarters Eva would tend to go out of her way just to fix whatever is wrong. Her maternal instincts would kick in and she would make sure everything is spotless before doing anything else. During Eva and Lissandro's trip to the camp she had remembered the times that they traveled to the Caribbeans to search for shipwrecks. She always enjoyed looking at the fish and all of the different types of sea creatures. If asked by someone she knows, Eva would show them pictures she drew of the little fish. Some are better then others.
History:
Barbara Ortiz is an undersea explorer who is the captain of the ship Madre Oceano. Its an undersea exploration boat rigged with anything that was needed to look for any wreckages that the crew needed to scavenge from. An incident with Barbara’s first mate, a drunk who was more of a distraction than anything else, caused her to search for a new first mate. After searching for a new first mate a man by the name of John had offered to take the job. He was of Greek descent, and seemed to get by better than any other crew on Barbara’s ship. As he spoke to Barbara she slowly began to take a liking to him and gave him the job as her first mate. Together they found a lot of treasures that were hidden at the bottom of the sea. This led to a relationship between the two, one that ended with Barbara’s pregnancy. The children she bore were twins whom she named Lisandro and Evangeline. When the two were born, John revealed himself to be the Greek God Poseidon. Once he did, he also explained the danger Lisandro and Evangeline could encounter as they grew up. Barbara was confident that she could take care of them regardless, so she tried her best to take care of them as they grew up.
As the twins grew up, they were homeschooled as they travelled with their mother on the Madre Oceano. This allowed them to avoid monsters longer than most demigods, especially for demigods of the big three. Eva never had a problem with doing quiet work and honestly enjoyed it. She had always done her work frivolously and, would become somewhat of a star student. While working with her mother however she always looked up to her. She enjoyed watching her work and hoped to be just like her one day. A strong willed women with an amazing job of being the captain of a ship. Eventually the twins encounter a monster at the age of 17, which had been a hydra. Before the monster encounter, they made a very curious haul. Two weapons secured in an air tight chest, A musket, and a trident. The musket was intricately designed and in remarkable shape, it even came with a bayonet. The musket was also accompanied with a satchel that held ammunition for it. The twins saw that both weapons had a bronze glow to them, though nobody else could see it. When the hydra appeared, Lisandro and Eva were able to kill it with their new weapons, and with the use of some of Eva’s powers, but afterwards, they knew they weren’t safe, and that they had to make their way to Camp Halfblood, a trip that would take them a month.
Eva had never really been far away from their mother. She would tend to stick by the people that she knew and would always rely on them for anything that she needed. She felt it was hard to talk to people she didn’t know and was even afraid to speak sometimes. Thankfully she had her brother to rely on whenever they needed to speak to somebody. After their encounter with the hydra she learned about what she could do. She began carrying around a water bottle so she can always have water on hand. Whenever they would encounter an enemy she was the one who took the front line, though Lisandro would urge her to run instead of fight. Once they made it to the camp however she felt out of place and would try her best to stick close to her brother at all times.
Weapon: A Celestial Bronze Trident. If the trident is put under water, it sharpens and can cut through steel. She would also tend to carry three water bottles
Abilities: She has little training but will be able to do the following with training:
Hydrokinesis: Manipulation and control over water.
- Able to breath under water for unlimited amounts of time.
-Water does not harm her in any way. (water pressure, falling into it from great heights, ext)
- Able to create air bubbles for those who cannot breath underwater.
- She can will herself dry in water.
- Higher resistance to fire and burns
- Able to communicate telepathically under water with sea creatures
- Natural detection if water is salt or fresh
- Able to tell her exact nautical location when in salt water (While in the water)
-able to heal/strengthen herself with water.
-know how to work ships.
Cryokenisis: Only slightly. Would make icicles to use as a weapon if she doesn't have her trident
