((This is not a roleplay thread, instead it describes in detail the area the board covers for quick reference! If something during a roleplay happens that changes how this area is presented/seen to others, post a reply to this thread with the change!)
A four story Victorian house stands near the camp entrance, serving as an administration building for Camp Half-Blood. It is painted sky-blue with a white trim and has a porch that wraps around the first floor and part of the second. Lawn chairs and tables furnish the deck, where Chiron and Mr.D usually playing pinochle here.
Inside, the doorway leads to the living room. Soft leather couches form a V facing a stone fireplace. At the back is an old Pac-Man Machine, usually littered with diet coke cans from Mr.D’s various all-nighters trying to beat the Hermes Cabin’s high score.
To the right you can see that the dining room area is covered in dormant grapevines. You can use these as an indicator to Mr.D’s mood before you tell him any bad news-- Or news in general. Lately they’ve been growing in a very crowded and erratic fashion, not a good sign. A gorgon-hair chandelier hangs over an oak dining table and various chairs. There is usually tea or cookies set up on the main or any side tables.
Further along the house there is a door to the Infirmary where wounded demigods go to get treated for wounds.
Downstairs is the basement, used to stockpile ambrosia and strawberry preserves. (Also has a history of being a great place to hide demigods.)
Upstairs and to your right is Chiron’s office and Apartment. With his full-screen video player, this room also houses the infamous Orientation video filmed by Apollo for any new campers to watch. Two playstation 3 controllers peak out from under his desk, but no one is quite sure whether it was originally left by camper or Chiron is secretly a speedrun gamer. Chiron also has a record-player, boom box filled with Italian Opera music and a computer. This whole room is bronze shielded because apparently ‘demigods and technology don’t mix’.
To the left is the Rec Room, where Chiron holds meetings with all the cabin heads every once in a while, or whenever a major decision needs to be made. Keep your eyes peeled if you are a cabin leader, you could be participating in these!
By yanking the pulley down at the end of the hallway, stairs will compartmentalize in front of you, leading into the Attic. Here is where trophies of previous quests and battles are stored, and most importantly, where the Oracle resides. Come here if you're starting out on a quest and need a prophecy told. (Rumor has it that some campers have hooked up a radio station to the Attic and will broadcast live when no one is looking.)
