Personality: Ody is generally in a good mood but doesn't always show it. She can seem a little ditsy at times but is actually very intelligent. She is a little dorky, geeky, and fangirls over several things. She is naive when it comes to jokes, sarcasm, and sexual references. Ody is also left handed. She likes any music besides country and rap, likes any form of fighting, LOVES going fast, and likes doing any physical activity. She loves water and ocean animals. Ody has ADHD and Dyslexia. Plus she can speak fluent Ancient Greek. Ody suffers from bipolar disorder and violent mood swings, meaning she can swing through drastic emotions quickly and aggressively often making her a danger or a liability. This also makes it difficult for her to make friends. She dislikes really girly things and if she is forced to partake in it she will over react and cry. She also doesn't like being put in the spotlight, doesn't like crowds, and doesn't like having to make decisions. Ody doesn't like being lied to and gets upset over it. Also when she talks she is very shy and nervous that people will think she is weird. She also gets annoyed and often angry when people mistaken her name for Odysseus or call her that.
Fatal Flaw: Little self-confidence- Ody isn't confident in any decisions or actions she takes. She keeps second guessing herself, making sure she doesn't screw up.
Powers/Abilities:
Hydrokinesis: Manipulation and control over water. Ody has the survival aspects of this power and a small amount of water control. The amount of control is not as powerful as a child of Poseidon and they can overtake her control. Ody got these powers from her mother.
- Able to breath under water for unlimited amounts of time.
- Water does not harm them in any way. (water pressure, falling into it from great heights, ext)
- Able to create air bubbles for those who cannot breath underwater.
- They can will themselves dry in water.
- Higher resistance to fire and burns.
- Natural detection if water is salt or fresh.
- Able to heal/strengthen themselves with water.
- Able to communicate telepathically under water with sea creatures.
- Able to manipulate water into solidified forms.
Ody using her powers:
-Natural survival instincts and reflexes: She inherited her father's unnatural ability to react and survive in dangerous situations. This made her father an excellent cave diver. Most of her ability is contributed to her ADHD though, but there is a slight difference in survival ability than most demigods.
Weapons: Has two, black, fingerless gloves: Left- Can make a 2 1/2 ft sword appear in her hand when two fingers are swiped back towards on the back of her hand. On the sword's hilt is a small shimmering blue wave and the blade is simple yet elegant. Right- Can make a shield appear in hand with the same process of summoning the sword. The shield isn't the average shield. It isn't a full shield made to block a huge area of attacks, it is small and only extends about an inch off her arm either way; it also covers her forearm and most of her hand. It is made of thin, but strong Celestial bronze with silver wave designs on it and is 17 inches long and 5 inches wide. To dis-spell any of the two items, she has to swipe outwards with two fingers on the glove.

History: Sheck Exley is a well known professional cave diver. He loved diving and revolutionized it by creating multiple inventions for the sport to increase survival. He worked as a mathematics teacher at Suwannee High School in Live Oak, Florida to finance his passion. On one of his recreational dives on a vacation to California in 1978, he came upon a cave and he decided to explore. While in there, he hit his head on small outcrop he didn't see. His vision blurred and and before he blacked out he saw a beautiful woman with pale skin and flowing long black hair. He felt hands around his wrists and he blacked out.
When he came two he was laying on the beach and the lady was kneeling beside him smiling. He quickly thanked her and she kissed him. He was a little dumbfounded but he went with it. They talked after that and he told her all about what he did. She seemed very interested, but reviled little about herself. Later that night they.....got to know each other better. Nine months later twins Odyssia and Viola was born July 8th, 1979. Their mother, who turned out to be Thetis, came off and on through her infancy, staying for a few days at a time every few weeks. She would speak to them in Ancient Greek, so Ody and Vi learned to read and write both Greek and English. So they knew her as their mother. When they were 14, her father died at age 45 while trying to set a depth record in a fresh water cenote more than 1000 feet deep in Mexico. She stood at the water's edge for hours and hours waiting for him to come up. When he never came up, Ody burst into tears at the edge. She curled up in the fetal position and cried. She then felt a hand on her back and she looked up to see her teary eyed mother. Vi seemed void of drastic emotion, unlike Ody but Ody understood this was just her sister's way. Thetis then brought them to the closest safe haven she could bring them to so Zeus didn't notice her violating direct interference, The Lotus Hotel and Casino. Thetis then told the two that she would be back in a four weeks, leaving them standing in the Hotel lobby.
While at the Hotel, Ody and Vi had a blast. At first Ody was grief stricken and stayed in her room, but eventually she ventured out of the room. Boy was she glad she did. She found her self addicted to racing games and watching one too many violent movies. She also spent a lot of time exercising in the Hotel gym. Ody, being a little naive and ditsy, never saw anything wrong with the Hotel. However, Vi always seemed suspicious.
The four weeks went by, and Thetis came back as promised. When Ody saw her mother, she snapped out of some sort of trance put on her by the Hotel. Vi surprisingly was reluctant to come but did go out. Those few weeks were actually 21 years in the real world and so much had changed. Ody adjusted very quickly, but Vi struggled so Ody tried to help her adjust.
Thetis brought them to an airport and explained who she really was and that there were things out there, monsters, that would try to kill them. She said the safest place is a camp for kids like them. With tears in Ody's eyes, they got on the plane headed to New York. But before they got on, her mother gave her a pair of fingerless black gloves and told her they should protect her well. Thetis gave Vi two bracelets with the same advice. On the plane Ody met a young boy about her age that walked funny and she talked with him off and on. He seemed to pay a lot of attention to her, almost too much. Vi secluded herself and watched a little TV, and didn't seem to notice the boy.
When they got off the plane he followed them and Ody started to panic. She kept tugging on her sister's arm and glancing behind them until Vi noticed him too. Vi grabbed Ody's wrist and ran into an empty service hallway. He came in and she screamed with tears down her face, "Get away monster! Don't eat us!" Vi stood in front of Ody protectively, and Ody felt a surge of pride in her sister. He calmly said he wasn't going to hurt them, but guide them to camp and that he was their "protector". With a teary grin she apologized for screaming and he guided them to camp without incident.
Ody doesn't know she has powers or how to use her gloves until after she arrives at camp. She finds out through a few different incidents.
