May Smith's entrance to CHB (CLOSED)

"Hey, just be thankful I warned you. No one told me to watch my wallet," I said. "Usually you can get your stuff back from them, they do it for fun and they usually just like to see your reactions." I led her around the cabins more. I took her around the U shape, explaining to her what god the cabin belonged to, and what the god was god of. I hoped I wasn't overwhelming her with all of the information. When we made it to cabin eleven, I knocked on the door. Finn answered it, she looked like she always did. Shoulder length dirty blonde hair, lazy black eyes rimmed with dark black makeup.
"Haiku Face!" She said happily. "What can I do for you?"
"Hey, Finn," I said. "We have a new camper who's staying with you guys," I said. I turned to face May. Finn held out her gloved hand.
"Finn," she said in introduction. "Daughter of Hermes."

Finn looked at me and raised an eyebrow, then turned back to May.
"Chill out, babe," Finn said with a smirk. "I won't bite." I stood there awkwardly next to Finn waiting for one of them to do something. She moved to let May walk through the door, holding her hands out graciously. "Ladies first."

Finn smirked.
"You've got no idea, Princess," she said. The cabin was old, it's floors were creaky and wooden, some looked like they could break at any moment. This definitely didn't seem like the sort of place May would like to stay in. I sort of felt bad for her.
"It's alright, you get used to it," I said reassuringly.
"Come on, it's always a party in here," Finn said, flopping on her bed. "You'll love it." Somehow I doubted that.
"This is the oldest cabin in camp," I said, turning to May. "That's why it seems so crappy."
"She wouldn't be home if she looked brand new," Finn said, stroking the wall warmly as she spoke about the place she had lived for the past seven or so years.

"Depends on who your parent is," said Finn with a shrug. "Some like it when you prove to them you're worthy, others do it when they get bored... Or sometimes when they lose a bet."
"Took me a couple of weeks," I answered. "The Gods have done a pretty good job of claiming their kids. We don't have many that are unclaimed, right, Finn?" I asked.
"That's right, so far there are only a couple," she answered. "Why? Aren't you excited to spend the night with me?" Finn winked at her with a mischievous Hermes-child-smirk.

Finn and I turned to greet May as she walked out.
"Don't you look nice," Finn complimented as she walked back up the stairs to her cabin door. I nodded in agreement.
"Ready for the rest of the tour? I already told Finn to stay away from your stuff... Cost me 10 drachma." Finn threw a bag of my drachmas in the air and caught it again.
"Pleasure doin' business with ya' Fletch," she said, that grin I had grown used to played on her lips once again. "Seeya' guys later." She closed the Hermes cabin door looking especially pleased with herself.

"Well, now that you've seen some of the cabins, why don't we go to the Arena?" I said. "Follow me." I started to make my way out of the cabin area. I decided to make more conversation with her, walking in silence was something that made me uncomfortable. I probably seemed like I talked a lot.
"So what do you do for fun, May?" I asked, playing with the strap that carried my trusty violin on my back.

"Hey, we have a pretty cool beach here at Camp Half-Blood," I said excitedly. I was happy that there was something here May would like to do. It could help take the homesickness away.
"For me it's Violin," I said, readjusting the strap that held the clear case of my violin. We walked for a while longer until we made it to the training Arena, where Gary was teaching a few young campers how to sword fight.
"Crap," I muttered under my breath. He was the last person I wanted to see. I hoped I could get this stop of the tour done before Gary noticed me, but I had no luck. As he watched his students spar with each other, his baby poop eyes widened on his butt face as he saw me.
"Band Geek!" He yelled as he jogged over to give me crap.
