The colourful bunch of rainbow kids(Open for Iris campers)

As we walked back to the cabin, I was, as usual, keeping to myself. Now don't get me wrong, I liked my family, but I hadn't know any of them very long. I just wasn't that comfortable around them yet, let alone anyone at camp yet. Kiara complimented me on my fighting style. But I think it was just courtesy. I wasn't much of a fighter, in fact I was a pacifist. I would only fight if a life depended on it. Anyways, I acknowledged the compliment with a head nod. I stuck my hand to my shoulder and Roy fluttered on. He looked at me and nodded towards Kiara.

"Can I go. Can I go."

He called. I nodded my head letting him know it was okay. He flew off and landed on Kiaras shoulder.

I looked at her.

"So what's next?"

I whispered.

After Roy gracefully (see what I did there hehe) landed on my shoulder I started to think about what we had next, the writing on my hand was blurred out so that was of no help to me, luckily Mirage was there to save the day. "It's good to have you around, you actually know the schedule, I guess I should do that too." I grinned and softly scratched Roy's head. But it was sort of logical that she knew what we had since she loved pegasi even more than I did and I seriously liked those animals. I used to do horseback riding back home so I'm pretty decent at it. Though horses don't have any wings that get it the way and they don't usually fly.

As we headed to the stables I was actually considering going bare back. But only if one of the broader pegasi was available, no discrimination towards the smaller ones but I'd slide of easier and fall to my death which would not be nice nor leave a good impression on any nearby humanoid beings. We got in, and I saw somebody laying in the hay, asleep. I recognised him as Dexter, a son of Hypnos. 'Guess we'll not have many others in the sky today.' I said jokingly. I walked to Wise Guys stable and was happy to be greeted by his sparkly eyes looking at me and checking for any treats. He stared at Roy and the two had some sort of staring competition, Roy hopped on to the edge of the stable and began saying things to the Pegasus. I walked over to Mirage. "Ehm do you think I could go bare back without like, falling to my death?" Then I realised that our half brother was probably kind of confused and we should probably teach him how this whole thing worked.

Mirage had practically ran down to the stables probably giving her siblings yet another workout, she was excited. Especially since it was Theo's first time riding but Lucy knew he shouldn't worry for some weird reason most Iris children had the natural ability.
And Mirage knew this first hand because she knew very well that she never rode a horse before she arrived at camp half blood never mind a flying horse with wings. So she scampered down to the stables tripping on her feet a couple of times but getting right back up, with a wild grin.

When they all finally reached the stables Mirage walked right in and sniff in the smell of hay and pegasus poo, it was just another beautiful day. Mirage was glad that she was wearing a simple outfit of light brown khaki capris and her orange camp shirt, because this way her movement wouldn't be so restricted when she was riding. However she felt slightly too "common" once she saw Dexter. As soon as her eyes laid on him the air around her instantly glittered drawing more attention to herself. But as soon as it came it went once she realized he was fast asleep. Mirage cracked a smile and said "Awww here honey" As she grabbed one of the horse blankets off the rack and tucked him into his little cocoon of hay. Before she left the pen he was in she swiftly brushed his shaggy hair to the side and planted a gentle kiss on his forehead. She then closed the door to the pen and turned around to see Theo and Kiara looking at her.
"What?" Mirage asked with a small smile, "we have a history. That's all"
Feeling embarrassed Mirage went right over to her pegasus Joker. He to was giving her "the look".
"Oh I don't need that from you too" Mirage said to him as she stroked his mane and fed him half of a carrot, keeping the other half for herself.

When Kiara had come to Mirage asking her if she thought Kiara could bare back (riding) it really made Mirage feel good. Mirage knew that Kiara was an outstanding rider and she actually use to ride horses so it ment a lot to Mirage when she came seeking her for guidance.
"Of course you should. I always feel more free and a little on the edge. Its a wonderful feeling and the pegasi love it too. However with that's said if its your first time I would take it easy, so no Spade or Equinox." Mirage thought of Equinox and how people hardly ever took him out. She use to but Mirage realized she had been playing favorites with Joker. 'Next time' Mirage thought to herself.
"Also I recommend if your not going to have a saddle and its your first time riding bare back to have a rope. Lord know I didn't my first time, and there I was in the infirmary weeks later regreting my choice." Mirage said picking up some nearby rope and handing it to Kiara.
"Just tie it around their neck like is was a rein and try not to use it unless you have to." Mirage said smiling giving a little laugh as she gave her sister advice.

Next Theo asked if he could ride Omega or that was the part she caught anyway.
"Oh yes he is really good for beginners. Now though since you new to riding you definitely need a saddle. My only question is do you just want me to do it or do you want to learn how to do it yourself?" Mirage said raising and eyebrow. She didn't mind doing it for him she knew she could get it done fairly quick however if he wanted to come here some other time he better hope someone nice is here that knows how if he never learned.
