Meghan loves doing makeup (with the understanding, of course, that less is more) and will wear it often times around camp and at special events. Her style can be described as punk but casual, and she loves dark lipstick, leather jackets, and fingerless gloves. She has a lobe piercing on both ears and two higher piercings on both ears, and it is common for her to wear small hoops on the top piercings and small piercings on her lobes. Personality: Meghan Wales has always been an athletic and outgoing type of person. She loves being outside and playing sports, and planting things in her garden (mostly flowers). Meghan is also a bit competitive and tries to be the best in everything she can do, which can obviously lead to others not liking her. She is very outgoing however, and her loyalty to her friends and family is undying and unconditional. That being said, she is very trusting and has a lot of hope in strangers, which is also rather her 'fatal flaw'. This is because her trust can result in those who she loves betraying her and her heart becomes shattered, but she never loses hope in others. Meghan always tries to be an optimist and look to the best of things, and will always try to cheer you up. She also has a dirty sense of humor, surprisingly, and is very open about her sexuality. She feels she has no reason to hide who she is, and simply shrugs off those who say that it's wrong to be who she is- to end this on a cheesy note.
History: Meghan Audabella Wales was born on December 4th, 1997 to Persephone and Harlan Wales in Mississauga, Ontario (Canada). Harlan and Persephone had previously dated together throughout that summer, and their love had resulted in Meghan's birth. Persephone explained the whole godly thing a week after Meghan's birth, and left the next morning. Harlan didn't know how to cope with the loss, and simply kept quiet to himself and kept his feelings bottled up-which is well-known not to be very healthy. Meghan had a pretty calm childhood with only a few incidents having to do with her being a demigod, including one that gave her a permanent deep scar on her lower back. On a rainy monday morning P.E session, a couple of boys (that, spoiler alert, turned out to be Laistrygonian Giant) were doubting her ability to hit a ball. Meanless to say, she got really mad and offended that they were teasing her and other girls for saying they 'ran and hit like a girl', and she ended up hitting so hard that she knocked out the most vocal of the boys. The others were furious and turned into their true forms, almost killing her and a couple of classmates. This resulted in the scar on her lower back and a change of schools, and this was when Meghan was 10 years old. Only 2 years later, another incident occurred when a servant of Kampe had been sent spontaneously to kill Meghan before she discovered she was a demigod and had powers. When the monster had arrived, Harlan immediately rushed Meghan out of their apartment without her packing (or any warning whatsoever) and sped towards Camp Half-Blood, Persephone's voice and the memory of her taking over his mind. He said close to nothing on the trip, Meghan sobbing and screaming off and on. When they finally arrived, thankfully somehow not caught by authorities for speeding, Harlan had only given her a small, faded daisy that was strange in nature- Meghan knew immediately it was not a regular daisy because of the way it looked and felt. All he did was give her a hug, a kiss on the head, and told her, "You'll know when the time comes. Please understand this is only for the best." - and off he went, speeding into the distance. Meghan slept the night through in the forest until a camper on border patrol found her curled up near a tree, sobbing. They brought her into camp where she was put in the infirmary in case of any injuries. There she talked to Chiron, and learned her 'magical powers and destiny'. She didn't believe anything, and for the longest time demanded to go home. After a while, Meghan decided that she would give things a try, slowly- each day that passed in the infirmary made her feel more dead, and she longed to go outside again. This slow process over a couple of weeks lead her to enjoying camp as she does now, but she can never truly forget that period of time, and every moment she is feeling sad she feels depressed and is brought back to those times- which is why she tries to be an optimist.
Weapons: The strange daisy from Persephone and Harlan turned out to be a powerful dagger her mother owned for a while- it had an innocent design (as innocent as a dagger can look, at least), elegantly painted white and gold, a dagger specifically classified by design as a Dirk dagger. Despite the fact that it had a cute little daisy on the hilt and pommel of the dagger, it is heavily laced with the magic of the metal that can only be Stygian Iron, found in abundance in the Underworld.
