Full Name: Asper "Elixir" Medeis (Her name, oddly enough, means bitter magic.)
Age: 18
Description: Asper has lightly tanned skin, with light brown eyes that border on being hazel at times. With her slightly wavy, dark brown hair that falls down her back, the demigoddess weighs about 120 pounds. With a more lithe, slimmer build, Asper has only a small scare residing on her left palm, as a result of not a monster attack, but rather falling off a tree as a child. Her style is bold, with several colorful prints and layered jewelry. She also wears handbag.
Playby: Alessandra Ambrosio
Sexuality: Bisexual
Olympian Parent: Hecate
Mortal Parent: Jace Medeis
Personality: Equipped with an autobiographical memory, Asper is serious and taciturn. With her slight half-smile and twitch at her lips, she usually uses those instead of a genuine, full-blown grin. She keeps to herself, as she enjoys her solitude and privacy. Instead of giving clear answers, she's infamous for her vague replies.
Hardworking and focused, Asper is cautious and hates taking unnecessary risks. She's exceptionally smart, but can tune out of conversations easily. She's kind but not excessively so, and likes to stay far out of the spotlight, away behind the scenes. Though she's more than a little sarcastic in her humor, she's friendly enough and knows when to back down from a fight-most of the time. She has a very short temper.
Her passion is potion making. Being a daughter of Hecate, she's able to create magical concoctions, and Asper can usually be seen somewhere either gathering ingredients for a potion or brewing one. That's why she was called "Elixir"-her talent for making said substances. She only can make potions that heal and protect, however.
Some of her other hobbies are glassmaking, jewelry-making, reading, and using spells. Her dislikes are people questioning her excessively, messiness, and people destroying borrowed property-especially if it's hers.
History: Jace Medis was a Brazilian actor and part-time magician. Without using real magic, he created tons of seemingly impossible tricks-which were all, of course, possible. When meeting him backstage after one of his shows, Hecate saw him preform a trick that made a dozen doves appear from his sleeves, fly up to be set on fire, then have a blanket thrown over them and disappear. Impressed that a mortal could make that happen without using real magic, Hecate got to know the man, and was drawn to him because of his easy charisma, talent, and genuine kindness.
When a child appeared on Jace's doorstep without a trace of "Harriet", the man was puzzled, until he read a note explaining Hecate's lifestyle and who she really was. Confronted with a huge relegation-and a child-Jace accepted the random, seemingly thrown-out clarification, and took Asper in.
Growing up, Asper and her dad were always close. He witnessed her first magic trick,-at age four from accidental magic-her first time climbing a tree(and falling), and her first year at school. Though she had dyslexia, Asper never let it bother her and instead used it as more motivation to get good grades. When she was nine, she witnessed a bus driver hold her up on a field trip and turn out to be a monster. Screaming and completely freaked out, the girl ran home and told her dad everything.
Panicked, the former actor-who had exchanged his job for a professor when he received Asper-ordered them two tickets to the US in hopes of getting her to camp soon enough.
When she arrived-uneventfully-she was shipped off to camp as soon as she could be, and was claimed immediately.
Weapons: Her staff, which is white with gold designs trailing to the top, where a heavy, Celestial Bronze egg lays. Her other item is pouch that when opened, transforms into a chest that holds up to 15 potions that can either heal wounds, replenish a small fraction of energy, and place defensive countermeasures against other unfriendly forces for up to three hours. The potions sometimes effect people or her by making them have a slight fever or making using their powers take up a lot more of their energy than it used to.
Abilities: Asper is able to cast spells, brew potions, and manipulate the Mist.
Years at Camp: 9
Year-Rounder or Summer-Only Camper?: Summer-Only, but she's being homeschooled.
