(3 years on this site with you lot!! I couldn't be a happier admin<3 ily guys so much.)
Full Name:
Flint Glenwood
Age:
17 (in mortal years, in Satyr years he's around 24)
Description or Playby:
Michael Clifford
(a more accurate portrayal of the way he looks also.)
Flint doesn't look like the average forest spirit. He presents himself with an alternative style apparent in his punk clothes, dyed hair, multiple tattoos, and piercings. Flint is rarely seen without an unnatural colour in his hair. Usually, his hair is green (to commemorate the forest), but it's not uncommon to see him sporting blues, reds, or even pinks on occasion. He styles his hair in a mohawk, with the sides generally shaved saved for the two green tufts that frame his face. His horns are black and grow a few inches from his head. The fur on his goat legs are a dark brown that match the natural colour of his hair. Just below his knees, his fur is black. His cloven hooves are black, like his horns. Flint usually tries to keep his goat-beard shaved to a light stubble across his face. He figures it makes him look more passably younger while he's picking up demigods. It's not uncommon to see his beard growing out in a scruffy manner if he hasn't been outside the border for a while. Flint has dark brown, nearly black eyes.
Flint takes pride in his clothes, despite how beat up they look. His favourite things to wear are vintage pinup shirts. He has quite the collection of pretty ladies, all whom have been named by him. If he's looking for a demigod, Flint wears baggy dark grey sweatpants with a ribbed pattern at the knees, along with a pair of floral print Doc. Martins boots. He's also often seen wearing band shirts and muscle tee's. Most of his shirts are ripped up in some way. He also really likes studded bracelets. Like all Satyrs, Flint has his own personal collection of hats he uses to hide his goat-like features while outside the border. Usually these are plain black beanies decorated with patches/holes, due to being ripped by his horns.
As well as a collection of hats, Flint has built himself up a collection of tattoos. He has one to commemorate every demigod run he's done. His tattoos are mostly done in American Traditional style, though he has a few Neo Traditional tattoos as well. These tattoos are mostly on his arms (he's building a sleeve) but he also has two on his hip bones. He's saving a big spot on his chest for when he finds Pan. Flint started collecting tattoos of his missions when he was around 16. The Satyr had a fake ID made by a Hermes kid stating his age as 18 so that he wouldn't have to go to any shady tattoo shops. Being able to grow out a beard at the time helped a lot in him looking older.
Additionally, Flint has his fair share of piercings. This includes one in his tongue, stretched earlobes, double Helix piercings in each of his ears, Snake bites in his lower lip, and a bar in the bridge of his nose.

Flint isn't very muscular. In fact, he's a pretty scrawny guy. He relies more on his agility than his brute force. He could still throw a pretty nasty punch your way, though, so don't test him. Flint stands at a height of 5"5 and weighs 130 LBS.
Finally, Flint almost always has his finger nails painted black.
Sexuality:
Heterosexual
Mother:
Brooke Glenwood (Naiad)
Father:
Ash Glenwood (Satyr) [Missing/Presumed dead]
Personality:
Flint has never been the calm and collected type. Not like most forest spirits, that is. Flint can easily be described as "aggressively passionate", especially when it comes to something like the environment. He's a strong supporter of the "plants are punk rock" movement, and will fight you on it no problem if you disagree with him. Flint is snarky, and has no problem with others knowing that. He has a filter, but prefers not to use it, which ends in him running his mouth often, to just about anybody. You can imagine how often this gets him in trouble. Flint is, and always has been a rebel. He's not good at taking orders, and hates authority figures. He prefers to do his own thing on his own time. He's very stubborn in nature, which only adds to his rebellious attitude. It's because of these few personality traits that Dionysus hates Flint. If you asked the God which forest spirit he disliked the most, his answer would most definitely, without question, be Flint Glenwood. Flint loves to mess with Dionysus, taking great pleasure in annoying or pissing off the intimidating camp director. It's because of this, that Flint is no stranger to the sensation of being turned into a flower, or other weird things brought on by the punishment of the Wine God.
Although Flint looks unapproachable and slightly intimidating for the most part, the Satyr is actually a big softy. He's fun loving and enjoys a good time with friends. He has an undying loyalty towards those he's sent to protect, or those he cares about. He usually doesn't have a hard time connecting to those he's interacting with. The Satyr tends to be flirty (a popular nature spirit trait), and likes to think he's quite the smooth talker, despite the fact that he gets flustered quite easily when flirting is reciprocated (especially if it's a cute boy). Flint can usually be seen with a lazy smile plastered across his face, some may describe as smug. Flint generally has an air of confidence around him. He doesn't seem to care too much what happens to him, therefore, doesn't seem too worried about possible punishments. Flint is social, like most forest spirits. He enjoys making friends and hanging out with people. He loves laughing, and enjoys the company of those who he finds amusing to be around. He also tends to gravitate towards other alternative looking demigods.
Flint has many flaws, all similar in nature, proven dangerous on many occasions to both himself and others. To start, Flint is unimaginably reckless. He's immature and irresponsible for the most part, only smartening up in intense situations. This makes the Satyr seem kind of unreliable when going on demigod runs. As well as reckless, Flint is incredibly vexing. He has been known to very often annoy others with his lazy attitude and general disregard for things going on around him. Additionally, Flint tends to act in a cocky, or arrogant matter. He speaks of himself highly, and walks with his head held high in an "I don't care" sort of way. In his case, his cocky nature acts as a defense mechanism, due to events of his past.
Despite being stuck in his ways, Flint is motivated to become a Seeker for Pan(mostly for the bragging rights, mind you). Because of this, when it counts, he does his best to act in a responsible matter. He knows that in order to become a Seeker, he has to be seen as a responsible Protector. Flint doesn't always succeed in keeping his arrogance at bay, and it often causes him a lot of could-have-been-avoidable trouble.

Like most forest spirits, Flint enjoys music. Unlike most forest spirits, Flint isn't one for wind instruments like pan pipes and flutes. He's much more into the guitar, specifically the electric guitar. Sadly, due to his limited resources, he doesn't have an electric guitar of his own. This doesn't stop him, however, as Flint has been known to visit the Apollo cabin on a regular basis to mooch off their many instruments. Despite pan flutes not being his favourite instrument ever, he wouldn't be a patron of the forest without knowing how to play one, so, in his younger years he learned. He also has a nice singing voice, which he doesn't mind others hearing. He can be heard singing to himself regularly.
Flint likes causing trouble and getting into things he shouldn't. He can often be seen hanging out with children of Hermes (His best friend being a daughter of the Trickster God, Finn Thatcher), or anybody willing to cause a little chaos, for that matter.
Flint gets woozy at the sight of blood, and has even been known to faint if there's excessive amounts of it, or if it's his own.
The green haired Satyr also has an unrelenting sweet tooth. Sour-key's are his favourite, but he isn't picky when it comes to sweets, though he does have a preference to sour candies (like Warheads, or sour skittles).
Flint is an avid collector. A few of the things he collects include; tattoos, piercings, and anything with a vintage vibe (mostly pin-up T-shirts)

As stated earlier, Flint hates taking orders, and dislikes authority figures. This is the reason he doesn't get along with Dionysus. He doesn't like the way the God treats the Nymphs and Satyrs like slaves. Similarly, this is why he hates Charlie, and his cause. Flint is all about rebelling, but Charlie crossed a line with him when he began brainwashing Flint's friends and family in order for them to join his cause. That's just not cool, bro. Flint hates seeing harm come to animals and plants, especially those whom belong to the forest(or the lake) at CHB. Flint won't mind starting a fist fight if it's in the name of Nature... In fact, Flint won't mind starting a fist fight in general. The satyr, being the kind who likes to play pranks on people and laugh at the expense of others, doesn't generally get along well with those who can't take a joke.
All in all, Flint is a rebellious Satyr who just wants to do his own thing, but he makes for great company if you take the time to get to know him.
History:
Ash and Brooke met on a sunny June afternoon. Ash had been walking along the shore of the lake when he spotted a mysterious figure sitting on a throne of rocks. Ash was captivated. It was like love at first sight, at least, it was on his end. He felt he needed to know more about the beautiful Naiad that sat alone in the sun. At first, Brooke was disinterested in him. She thought he'd be like any of the other satyrs that showed interest in her. Just looking for a good time with a Naiad. Brooke had never been much of one for those sorts of games. Ash continued to visit Brooke, despite her initial cold reactions to him. After a while, she warmed up to him, and the two became friends. Soon after their bond developed into a loving relationship.
A few years after the day they met, Ash and Brooke were blessed with the birth of their son. From an early age, Flint proved very different from his parents. Brooke was a quiet Nymph, who was as calm as the water on a windless summer day. Ash was a well respected Protector, with many successful demigod runs under his belt. He was intellectual, mature and kind-natured. Flint, on the other hand, was a trouble maker, and constantly the cause of his parents grief. As a child, Flint would always wander into areas of the forest he wasn't supposed to, despite what his parents told him. He had a habit of getting his friends into trouble with their own parents as well. It seemed that Ash and Brooke were constantly having to apologize to other parents about the endangerment of their children.
Brook tried her best to discipline their son, but whatever she told him seemed to go through one pointed ear and out the other. Ash, on the other hand, saw potential within his son. Ash and Flint had a very healthy relationship. Ash had learned quickly that the only way to get through to Flint was to treat him as an equal. Brooke seemed to act as the more authoritative figure in the family, which she didn't always appreciate.
As he got into his younger teenage years, Flint began to learn about his role in camp. His father taught him what he knew about being a protector, and Flint was equally excited about being able to go on adventures outside of camp. Despite Ash's efforts to drill it into his sons head that being a protector was dangerous, Flint never really picked up on the big picture, at least not right away.
Around the same time Flint was preparing to go on his first demigod mission, Ash stood in front of the council and was accepted into the role of becoming a Seeker of Pan. All forest spirits know how large of an honor that was, so suffice to say that the small family was excited for Ash. Before Flint left on his first demigod mission, Ash left his wife and son to fulfill his purpose in finding the Nature God, Pan. Before parting ways with them, he gifted Flint a celestial bronze switch-blade knife. Flint carries the knife with him wherever he goes.
After many years since Ash set out on his journey to find Pan, he has never once returned to Camp Half Blood. The general consensus is that he was killed, like most Satyrs are, in his attempts. Flint refuses to believe that his father is dead, and instead desires to become a Seeker so that he can both look for his father, and claim the bragging rights of finding Pan. Brooke prefers not to talk about her lost love, but believes that he was killed. It seems easier for her to accept and deal with it that way.
Flint has been on 6 demigod runs in his life, but only 5 successful ones. The satyr will always live with the guilt and regret from his third demigod run. He was a naive and irresponsible teen at the time, sent to the city of New York in search for a son of Hephaestus named Sawyer. He had found the demigod, and attended his school to keep an eye on him. The two developed a friendship with one another, and Flint genuinely liked Sawyer's company. Things were going smoothly at first. Sawyer had no idea of his demigod status, but Flint could detect the smell of it on him. Sawyer's blissful ignorance kept the monsters at bay for the most part, but it wasn't long until the attacks started happening. Flint managed to defend the demigod the first few times, fighting off the monsters with his switch blade, and leading Sawyer away from school and towards Camp Half Blood. But Flint made a few stupid decisions, taking the situation too lightly. He underestimated the strength of the cyclops' that followed he and Sawyer, figuring they were just a few stupid giants. It was Flints irresponsible, cocky attitude that cost Sawyer his life.
Flint doesn't talk about that day, but when he started filling his arms with tattoos of his missions, the first one he got were a pair of Neo Traditional gears on his shoulder. If you ask, he will not tell you the meaning of those gears. Not unless he considers you a very, very, very close friend. Flint stopped going on demigod runs for a while after that incident, but has since been on two more successful missions.
Flint was one of the Satyrs caught in the forest by Dionysus' wall... As if he needed any other reason to hate the Camp Director. He managed to resist the sickness of the forest, staying away from any crazed forest folk, and sticking close to those he knew had their wits about them. Ever since the demigods broke the Nymphs and Satyrs out of the forest, Flint has been living with a kid known as Dean Rodgers. The cabin in the middle of the woods is cramped with spirits, but Flint makes it a habit of returning to the camp every once in a while.
Flint also makes it a habit to go and see his mom at the lake. He checks up on her and makes sure she's doing well. He knows that the sickness will spread quickly if it hits the lake, so he goes to make sure his mother is still healthy. Ever since they'd lost Ash, Flint and Brooke had developed a closer mother/son relationship.
