Practice makes Perfect! (OPEN)

Without even looking at Nik, she'd apply the lighter to him, setting him on fire. "Look, if you don't play the game, I'll take you down right now. So, be a good girl and play the game. I spent a lot of time working on this, and I'll be pissed if you ruin months of planning!"

Nikolas stumbled from his 'hero pose' as, simultaneously, his dice stopped rolling and Trinity set him on fire. The results on his dice were Sword, 4. He frantically slapped at the fire, drawing a small bit of distance from Trinity, before a Celestial Bronze sword and shield appeared in his hands. They were shiny, as if made by a professional. He pointed the sword at Trinity and said, "Watch it, kid! This is my favorite shirt! Look," he started, followed by a flourish of his blade, "All I'm saying is the Apollo kids aren't as large as the rest of the camp! And since I'm practically the only Tyche kid around, I think they could use my advantage. After all, I'm feeling lucky! We'll work it out in duels, what'dya say?" He looked over at Kyra, who seemed distrusting at first. "I'm sure you could handle a few fights, can't you? It'll be fun!"  Apparently, Nik didn't see this whole thing as a situation in poor taste; instead he saw it as a competition.

She'd roll her eyes in exasperation at all of them. Taking a flask from her bag, she'd start dousing Nik with a lot of water. "You people are boring. Don't any of you ever lighten up? I mean, really. Who put the stick up your arse?"

Nik shrugged a bit, and changed his weapon back into dice. With a jingle of the dice, he looked at Trinity. "There's no reason for in fighting; that's not the way of a hero! We need to focus our efforts on the evil that still lives! I mean, that's why we're here. But if you wanna give me a chance to fight and hone my skills? I'll take it!" After his little monologue, Nik look at his singed and now wet shirt. "Damnit...this'll never be clean."

There would be no response from Trinity, she'd already wandered off to go deal with making sure nobody was trying to cheat

Nik shrugged casually. "I don't get what or why she's a stick-in-the-mud against the Apollo kids, but if there's no convincing otherwise I'm ready to go! I wasn't kidding about helping you guys, not that I think you couldn't handle your own...uh, what was your name again?" He asked, gesturing towards Kyra. "--I just think that you could use some more numbers on your side."

Kit kinda half-stretched after standing there thinking for abit. "Welp..." He looked over to Kyra "I'll help you guys out however much I can. To be fair I have to worry about my cabin. There are a lot of different kids from a lot of different gods. I'm kinda afraid they would get caught in this mess too." He gave a reassuring smile to Kyra. It was to make sure that she knew to call for him if the time came.
