Full Name: Apollina Eleutherios
Age: 17(really 2280)
Description or Playby: Anna Popplewell
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Olympian Parent: Apollo
Mortal Parent: Theophania Palaokostas [deceased]
Personality: Apollina takes orders from anyone growing up in a society where women were to be seen and not heard. They weren't expected to take part in conversations except with their husband and family, and Apollina was the prime example of that. She took orders, and did whatever her husband told her to do, fearing punishment if she refused. She has a strong will even though she's not a strong-willed individual and she's a good listener. Apollina is someone anyone can talk to and not be judged by her.
She loves to cook and loves children though she can get somewhat bored by the normal chores women were expected to do back in her time. Now, though, she will have a chance to become an entirely different person not dependent on a husband for anything if she doesn't wish to be, and she can have her own views and speak her mind instead of holding her tongue. She is subservient, and thinks of herself as nothing more than a lowly wife. She takes orders from anyone and doesn't speak her mind. Apollina thinks too hard about what might happen and doesn't focus on the positive aspects of life. Her fatal flaw is that she'd do anything for family, and she takes orders from any male, no matter the order is.
She likes wine, horses, children, sewing, cooking, her family....or her mother and sister at least, Athens, going out into town, seeing her family, and attending parties. She dislikes her husband, his various lovers, Sparta, enemies of Greece/Athens, her 'father', this new world, not having her own opinion, wars/battles, and having to do whatever her husband told her to do....even having to sleep with other men if he got a higher position/standing out of it. She wants to make friends and fit in. Apollina fears not fitting in, most men, and getting in a relationship with anyone or getting too close to people in general. She feared her husband beating her or their children if they had any.
History: Apollina Palaokostas was born in the times of Ancient Greece. She was the daughter of Apollo and a high ranking military officer's wife. Apollo soon left leaving her mother alone pregnant, not knowing that her daughter was going to be a demigod.. She grew up with the knowledge of gods and demigods but didn't know that she was one. She grew up with many siblings and was one of the youngest. At 14, she was married and became Apollina Eleutherios. She disliked her husband but was higher up than most Grecian wives were in this time. She was more like a servant than a wife, and got used to being punished for doing something wrong. Her husband had actually caused her to lose her child and she grew to resent him. She was treated as a normal wife; take care of the children, care for the husband, take care of the house, cook, sew, and the other normal duties that a woman would be expected to know how to do.
When she was 17, her husband took her into town. Whilst in town, he started talking with someone, and so Apollina started to look around. She invited into a building by a young woman, and so, she entered the trap, not knowing that it was the Lotus Casino. Her husband continued talking with a young man, and didn't even notice her go into the building, much less her disappearance until maybe an hour later. Apollina was trapped inside, with no way out. Life went on without her, days passed, and months later, she was presumed dead. Greece fell, and Rome took its place. Rome too fell, and another country became the Heart of the West. With a new country taking power, the gods moved, and so did the Lotus Casino. Centuries passed by when it only seemed like hours to Apollina. Soon, she was in the year 2017. Apollina managed to get out of the Lotus Casino in the year 2017, as she started thinking about her family, and what would happen to her for her disappearing act when her husband discovered her missing. She quickly deduced what was keeping her there, and managed to get out.She suddenly was in an entirely different world with no language to communicate in and no idea of what was going on. While she was out, a satyr came across her appearance and knew that she was a demigod, after a quick test with the Celestial Bronze knife. The satyr spoke very poor Ancient Greek, but it was enough to communicate, and managed to get her to Camp Half-Blood somewhat safe.
Weapons: She has gold hair pieces that are quite sharp, and also has a bronze daggar given to her by a satyr. They aren't magical.
Abilities: Expert archer though she doesn't know it yet, excels in the arts, skilled musician, skilled in physical contests and games, has vitakinesis
Years at camp: 0 years at camp, will be on her first year
