A goofy smile slipped onto my lips at her words.
"Me? Get sick of you? I thought you were getting sick of me!" I let a light laugh escape me as I spoke. I couldn't imagine getting sick of such a cool half sister. I figured she would be okay to go around camp as she please now, making new friends and getting to know new people. I figured it would come easy for her.
"Tell you what," I said. "I'll be at the strawberry fields if you want to hang out, but I'm cool if you want to go meet some new people," I said with a smile. I hoped to find my best friend Casper at the fields playing his reed pipes for the strawberries to grow to. I hadn't spoken to him in a while, and I was missing the furry blonde boy. Bodine and I parted ways so that she could change in the cabin and I could go to the fields. I took in a deep, satisfied breath, happy to have helped a new demigod and sibling out on her first day. It had been a great day so far, and I was optimistic on how it would go in the evening.
