Bodine walks along the path that she had seen in her dream. A small sandy forest path. The birds whistle and there is a warm summer breeze. Bodine looks at her leg and sees that the piece of fabric she had bound around her cut is soaked. 'Curse those weird giant dogs.' She takes the fabric of and limbs towards the little stream. As she washes the piece of fabric and puts it down on a stone which is heated by the sun, she picks sone moss, that will help the healing progress. She then rips of another piece of her shirt, which is now a tank top showing her tanned belly. She smiled, it was quite nice. She wraps the fabric around the wound covered with moss. It felt nice and cooled. She then splashed some water in her face washed the dirt of her arms and legs, she cleaned the little wounds and picked up the now dry fabric and put it in her backpack. She took the apple she had packed and ate it. She moved on. She saw the hilltop from her dream, and got excited, I am almost there, and no monsters yet she thought. Too good to be true. She reached over for her bow and got an arrow ready. The seashells of her handle felt warm in her hand, not a good sign. She looked around but there was no monster. When suddenly she heared branches breaking, she turned and saw a huge snakelady. Her top half was a human, she wore green armor and bore a golden sword, her forked tongue flicked in and out her mouth. Her green hair hang lose around her shouders. The most scaring part was her huge thick snake part, it had the size of a car and Bodine could easily walk trough it, she did not feel like trying it though. The bright red eyes of the lady glistered. "Demigod, do not atempt to kill ussss if you ever want to ssssee your mother back." Said the lady. "WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY MOTHER!?" I yelled my eyes tearing up. "We did nothing, but our masssster did my dear, now put down that bow, drop your arrowssss and ssssurrender." Bodine was about to obey the lady when a voice in her head told her: "Bodine, do not listen to her, see is playing your mind, fight and run down that hill. You'll find a gateway there. Once you arrive you must speak to..." Bodine could not make out the rest because she was pulled backwards, a firm grip held her tight, and the hand held a sword. Its cold metal burning her neck. Bodine gasped, ofcourse we that points to more than one. How could she have been so dumb? She yelled for help but the deep voice of the creature told her that if she yelled her head would roll down the path. To demonstrate it he cut Bodine, a small stream of blood flowing down her neck. The hand covered her mouth. 'Hmmpf' Bodine said. Think, think! The snakelady now stood in front of her, she turned a curl in the hair of Bodine. "Sssso my little demigod, not quite sssso ssstrong anymore, are we?" The lady laughed. "Don't worry I'll take good care of you." She hissed something to the creature that held Bodine and he took his hand of her mouth. 'Who are you, and why do you call me a demigod?' Bodine asked sounding scared out of her mind, which she was. The lady just laughed. "Oh Bodine, you do not know yet, haha jusssst lissssten ssssweetie you are not the one we are looking for sssso don't worry." She turned her back to Bodine. *Now is my chance.* Bodine kicked backwards hitting the creature behind her in his royal parts. She snatched her bow and quiver and ran as fast as she could. The lady came after her yelling to Bodine that 'sssshe' had to 'sssssstop'. When Bodine reached the hilltop she saw the gateway. In Greek it said "Welcome to camp halfblood" why she could read greek, Bodine did not know. She yelled from the top of her lungs that somebody, anybody should really help her. She turned around, the snakelady was really slow, only halfway the hill, Bodine shot an arrow but it just bounced off, the scales of the creature functioning as strong armor. Bodine tried to walk but could not move, her leg felt as if it was on fire, her neck was still bleeding. Not a deep cut, gladly. Bodine stumbled towards the gateway, just before it she fell. Her bow broke into tiny pieces. 'No-no-no.' She sweeped up as many pieces as she could and sat there. She looked at the pieces, her only connection with her mother. Just then a burning pain shot up her leg. She dropped all the pieces and saw that the snakelady had reached her. Bodine crawled trough the gate. She saw how the snakelady took the pieces of her bow. 'NO!' Bodine wanted to get that lady but couldn't she colapsed and started to cry. Then she felt a warm hand on her shoulder, she looked up and saw;
