Archery's My Thing (open)

POV Alpha Verum

I walked to the archery range, I needed to shoot some arrows today. I swung my quiver over my shoulder after checking my amount of arrows. I had five in there, normal celestial bronze arrowheads and red feather on the tip. I liked red feathered one's , they were hard to loose, and I did loose a couple of arrows before. In the years that I had been here my archery skills had gone up quite a lot, though the Apollo children were by far the best, I wish I had their skills. I could join the Hunters of Artemis but I had told myself to not do that, living forever seemed boring. Beta walked by my side, he was a pretty good automaton to get my arrows back. 'Ready to do your job buddy?' He barked at me and wagged his tail producing a buzzing noise', I saw that some of the screws were coming loose. 'Oh Gods, we're going to have a Hephaestus child check that out Beta, your tail is going to fall off if your screws are that loose.' I kneeled down and twisted them tighter. 'Or I can do it myself.' We had arrived at the archery range, I saw a girl shooting an arrow, it landed in the middle of the target. Once she returned I started talking. 'Wow, that was a pretty amazing shot you made there. I am Alpha, daughter of Aletheia, Goddess of truth.' Most people did not know my mother so I added that to it. 'How are you?' Beta made a clicking noise. 'Yeah, this is Beta, my wolf pup automaton, he doesn't like to be unknown.'
