Here is a short passage from a book that I have been working on called The Divergent Demigods.
It's not everyday that you get chased by monsters, but when you do, it is NOT fun, especially when you are at school. It all started when STUPID Colin pushed me, and well, I got kind of mad. Anna and Jack attempted to restrain me, but I guess I'm stronger than both of them. That is when things started to get crazy. What most people think is that the pipes broke, and the building flooded, but I know for a fact that that is a lie. I don't know how or why any of this happened, but I'm almost completely positive that I, Sky Zee, flooded the school. Of course, I would know for sure, if Jack didn't hit me in the head, then I blacked out.
When I woke up, it was 4:00. I had been out for 6 hours, and I definitely wasn't at school. Jack and Anna were talking, in the middle of the forest. Oh, and Jack wasn't wearing pants.Well, it's not like all THAT was showing, his legs were covered in fur that I recognized as goat fur, and instead of feet, Jack had hooves. I started FREAKING OUT.
Please comment on what you think of my story. Any suggestions would be helpful!
