I rushed into the arts and crafts centre, panting and out of breath from my sprint over.
I had promised Shiloh I'd hang out with her to help her intergrate into camp life better. Unfortunately, I'd been held up in the infirmary when some poor camper got their hand stuck in the axles of the chariots. It took a large tub of lubricant, two hours, and a lot of persistent demigods before I was let out of my work as medic.

Now it was a good ten minutes into free time, and I still didn't fully trust the new camper with going about by herself. She didn't seem like a threat to anybody, unlike her brother who looked like he'd bite your hand off for making eye contact, but I was still wary of the two demigods we had found at the Larchie Cabin Motel.
"Sorry I'm late." I breathed out as I opened the door to the Arts and Crafts. "There was a bit of a... delay..."
I began to trail off as there was no sign of Shiloh right in front of me. I swear I told her to wait for me right at the door. Where could she possibly- Oh.
I had scanned the room for the mischievous demigod and it wasn't long until I spotted the tall girl with the distinct long black hair around black bangs. I let out a deep sigh, pressing my index finger and my thumb against the bridge of my nose. She managed to scour out the only person currently in the room and sat across from her. I had only known her for a few days but that flirtatious look on her face was already becoming familiar. I approached the table and sat on the chair next to Shiloh, putting my elbows on the table and my hands to my face in mockery of her position.
I was usually shy around people, but the energy around her made me a bit more motivated to not keep quiet, so lucky for her I was probably more of a grumpy asshole to her.
"You know, you'd be good at life drawing." I said as I greeted Shiloh.
Your skill at staring would be useful. I wanted to say, but it would sound a lot more condescending that anything else.
"I'm sorry, is my friend bothering you?" I said.
At least that's what I would have liked to say. I began my sentence but as I turned around to take a better look at the girl's face, I clammed up and mumbled out the rest of my sentence. It sounded more along the lines of
"I'm sorry, is my frimmd... bmthing... emmm...?"
She was stunning, with full, peach colored lips and ivory skin under a cascade of blonde hair. As soon as I saw her grey eyes, my mind let out a sigh.
Another cute Athena girl. It was like a curse.
I looked down at the table, trying hard not to blush.
"So, uh, what are you painting?" I mumbled out, a little more coherently this time.

Roxy's reaction to looking at the girl with striking grey eyes and pretty blonde hair, which was very familiar to me for some reason, made a goofy grin slip to her face. How cute.
The mystery girl reacted to us in at first, a surprised manor, then she had stumbled around her words kind of like Roxy had. At least she was still able to make coherent words. Anybody would have been able to sense the thick sexual tension that had just collected around the table, not many people would enjoy it. I definitely was.
"See Roxy? I'm fine. What's the matter, don't trust me to make friends?" I wrapped my arm around Roxy's shoulders as I questioned her, shooting a smile in the direction to the blonde girl. "I'm doing great, thanks for asking," I answered her. "I'm Shiloh, by the way. This is Roxy." I nodded towards Roxy with a tilt of my head. "What's your name?"
I found myself, again looking into the grey eyes of the girl, searching for where I knew her from. I know I had never seen someone like her before, so this feeling felt out of place to me. As I continued to look at her, I couldn't help but think of Quintyn, who had a similar gaze as this girl, only Quintyn's were more intense and icy. Come to think of it... Quintyn had blonde hair as well. I tried to imagine Quintyn's long wavy hair on the side of her face she had shaved it off of. As I did, I could see the family resemblance, and I got excited. Was this Quintyn's sister? I had been briefed on the whole half-sibling thing on my first day here. I couldn't help but raise my eyebrows and smile. I didn't have to ask, but I knew anyway.
"Are you... In any way related to Quintyn Avilov?" I questioned her. Holy crapoli, I would have to be rolling around to the Athena cabin more often if that was the case. I knew I had only been here a few days, but I had been hanging out with Quintyn tons. We were quickly becoming really good friends and I couldn't help but become slightly annoyed with her that she hadn't yet introduced me to her hot half-siblings.

(I am angry with myself to say I have made a one-liner before. On this site. It's really really insane to see how much i've improved. Granted I can't write a two-page thread about taking a breath like you guys could, but I used to be a pretty shitty roleplayer .~. )

"I am, actually, Quintyn is my half-sister. How'd you guess?" Alyssa smirked, turning her palms over and looking at them. They were covered and smeared with paint of all colors. She looked over at the selection of arts and crafts, adding, "I can make a kickass paper crane in origami, but that's about it." Alyssa reached over and grabbed a dark blue striped paper and began folding it in intricate different ways. It ended up as a crumpled up dark blue striped paper.
"Nevermind, screw origami. It's ovverrated anyway, right?" She gave another stupid, idiotic half-smile.
Alyssa wondered how the kid got their arm stuck in a chariot. Where in the chariot, the wheel?
"I imagine that must have been very fun, for both you and the kid..." She commented.

I saw Shiloh create and throw a paper airplane, but I didn't pay attention to it until it hit me on the side of the head.
"Wow Shiloh," I said in mock admiration. "I'm so proud of you, I half expected you to draw genitals all over it."
I took it in my hands and crumpled it up, throwing it at Shiloh again.
I looked down and realized my manticore wasn't following Shiloh's example and the scorpion tail looked a lot more phallic than I intended. Heat rose to my face as I ripped the tail of and rolled it up in a ball in my hands.
"So, uh.." I trailed off, realizing I didn't know the girl's name. "Uhm- you. Like painting a lot? I'm usually in the infirmary so I don't get to come here often. I have to admit it's a lot more relaxing than my usual work. I'm on the more crafts side of the spectrum though, I like 3D stuff."
I tried to make some small talk as I took the girl's crumpled origami in my hands.I flattened out the creases and began to fold it until I made a paper crane. I always made those when I was bored in the infirmary out of the notes of illnesses and injuries we had to write in.

I couldn't help but return her smirk with a mischievous smirk of my own. Things had just taken QUITE the turn, hadn't they? Part of me felt bad for her not knowing about what she was opening up for herself, but the other part enjoyed it thoroughly, but who would pick conscience over enjoyment? Not I, my friend.
"What, I don't even know your name and you're asking me if I have a thing for private parts?" I said, once again resting my chin on my hand as I propped my elbow up on the table, leaning forward. "I like you." I paused to wink at her and make my mental plan of action quickly. There were a lot of ways this could go. There were so many possibilities of flirtatious advances I could make on this very pretty girl. I could go subtle, or I could go more obvious, maybe a jokey approach? A big part of me screamed to go for it. She had started the conversation anyway.
"Well, if you get to know me you might just learn how much I have a thing for private parts, eh?" I said, throwing in a little hint of humor into my tone to sound like I was kidding. I leaned back in my chair, breaking from the flirtatious stance I had taken earlier. I glanced at Roxy sitting at my side again.
"Right?" I said, directing the question at her. As if she would go along with my flirting game. Sometimes I wished she'd let me teach her how to be my wingman, but no, as much as I loved her, I couldn't see it.
I waited for Roxy's reaction, knowing I would enjoy it just as much as I was going to enjoy Blondie's.

"Nice-looking tail you made there." Alyssa kept on her stupid-ass half-smile.
"I guess i'll have to get to know the two of you then, i'm interested in the answer to my question," She raised an eyebrow. She dipped her finger in the red paint, then twice in the blue, and swirled it together to make a medium purple hue. She added to the mix to put in some more color into the painting. "I have the tendency to ask things like that to strangers. Alyssa." She dried off her rough, colorful hands with a paper towel and held it out to shake.
