Let's Paint!

POV: James Ashfield

Now and then, James had tended to give himself small tours to find a good place to read. At this point it didn't matter whether he read or not. In all honesty he just needed something to do. One place he had yet to visit however was the Arts and Crafts building. He didn't know what exactly could be a good size for a building such as this but he was sure it was fine. He entered and looked around. He hasn't drawn anything in a very long time. He used to doodle when he was at work but, maybe he could make something more of it.
He looked around, rather confused. Where was he suppose to start. This is the first time he was even in here, after all.

He hadn't noticed the fellow camper. She seemed hidden. In any case she had gotten his attention. "Oh, no. Not really." He snickered slightly at her sword remark. "We'll I'm glad you at least spoke up. I would have been here awhile." He didn't mind her attitude. In a way he was used to it anyways. As he looked at her face he began to notice something "Hmm, you seem familiar..?" He mumbled to himself as he looked right into Fantasias eyes. He had to have seen her. "Hey, miss? Are you new here? You just seen so familiar."

He shook his head "No, It wasn't on a tour and I'm not that new. I believe we live in the same cabin... Other then that. Yeah, I think I could draw something. Can you help me find the write supplies?" He hasn't watched the news when he was home. While he lived in Florida the thing he had to worry about the most was the fact that people wanted him head. He would work in the basement of A Funeral home which was the location of the Morgue. There where no TV's and he would prefer books anyways, In terms of his drawing ability however. It would only be limited to drawing faces and skeletons. Although they came out perfectly fine. Its a kind of grim omen to him. He felt he should at least try something different.

As he collected what was needed and got them. He sat down somewhat close to where Fantasia set herself up. He looked at the canvas and everything. He pulled up his sleeve and, just started drawing whatever came to mind. A lot of black paint was being used. "Hm??" She found her question odd. Who did she remind him of? He took a moment to think and stopped painting. "Well, I do know there has to have been one book I've read that reminds me of you... I just cant seem to remember at the moment." He just shrugged and looked at her. His eyes where bold and they seemed to be looking right into her. Almost like he was looking into her soul. His face was serious as he tried to think. (As shown in his playby)

He then snapped back into reality. "Oh, my name is James. May I ask what yours is?" One thing is for sure. He had never thought he would hear another demigod say What the Hades. As he watched her, he felt that it was hard to look away. He just couldn't stop thinking about who she could have possibly reminded him of.

It seems he got caught thinking again. He wouldn't do that to much but, He was normally alone which caused him to think a lot. As he heard her name he was rather surprised however. "You have a very nice name." It then took him a moment. "Well... Although you say you aren't important. You're probably one of the first people I have had an actual conversation with." He stopped himself there and continued to paint. Eventually he got to a point where he just stopped painting. He looked at what he made and sighed audibly.

"Sorry for putting you in such a weird situation." He just continued to stare at what he made. He thought a bit if he should paint one more or just find a place to read. He took back finding a place to read once he realized that he didn't have a book with him.

Once again his head snapped back into reality. He looked over towards her "I cant really remember the name but, I have got to say the heroine was very strong willed and she was entertaining to watch. She stuck to her morals and was able to overcome the obstacles that was put in front of her." He smiled lightly as he thought about it. "In all honesty. It's been a long time since I read that book. Maybe some day I could read it again." He tried his best not to look back at the painting that he had made. Due to the lack of color other then black and white it would come to a surprise what he actually drew.

He didn't know what to say next. He wasn't much of a conversationalist either. His social skills where completely rusty.

He nodded "Yeah. Cross my heart and hope my father comes for me." He sat up and was prepared to listen. He smiled rather warmly towards her. This would be the first time that he had ever been told to keep a secret. It wasn't that he wasn't trustworthy it was just the fact that he has never gotten close to a single person. He doesn't even have friends. At least he never thought he had any.
