Full Name: Lucille Brando
Age: 15
Description: Lucille stands at 5'8'', and has alabaster, almost transparent skin. In contrast, her hair is raven black. goes down to her jaw, and is swept to one side with the other side shaved. Lucille has blue eyes, and soft features, minus a grimace that may appear on her face from time to time. She has an ax-shaped clip-on earring on her right ear, and weighs 160 lbs.
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Olympian Parent: Nemesis
Mortal Parent: Ichabod Brando
Personality: Her default mood is cold, and calculating, but not necessarily unfriendly. She isn't used to social situations, so she's is often as blunt as she can be, unless prompted otherwise. Lucille can be quick to anger or provoke, and like Achilles, her fits of anger can last absurd amounts of time. She's rather fond of strategy games, and plays them whenever there's a willing opponent. She really doesn't like it when people point out she's only got one hand, but she can tolerate that. What she really doesn't like is when people crack jokes about it, especially unfunny jokes.
History:
Ichabod Brando was a man with a sharp mind, ill temper, and luck that was like his temper. He was unsure why, but many people saw fit to treat Ichabod as a target of some kind. Muggers, drunkards, truckers, even salesmen thought they could bully, intimidate, or annoy him without consequence. Of course, that wasn't the case, as Ichabod was fond of dealing with his problems swiftly, and physically. There was one such dispute inside of a bar, and to his own surprise, it caught the attention of a woman. (Who resembled his eighth grade teacher, whom he despised, but he overlooked that.) After spending a night with her, she somehow escaped Ichabod's notice for a whole nine months, when he received a child, as well as an explanation of who Nemesis was, why this child was special, and advice to send her to boarding school. Ceasing his days of walking about, attracting trouble, Ichabod then settled to raise the kid.
Lucille Brando, for the earlier years of her life, had lived under the strict tutor of her father, Ichabod. He'd always chastise her about losing her temper, something she did often, and this causes her to always carry a calm attitude, though she is still provoked quite easily. Her life growing up with her father wasn't bad, but it wasn't exactly joyous. When she was very young, her and her father lived in Vermont, in an apartment until Lucille reached her middle school years, then she was often sent to boarding school. There, her father wasn't there to check her temper, and was often threatened with expulsion upon failure to contain her outbursts. Lucille had a cold exterior, and was often unpleasant to talk to, with how blunt she could be, without anyone talking to her, she never made close friends, but there were people she could hold a conversation with. One day, when she was thirteen, a new teacher seemed way off to her. She'd often cast uncomfortable glances towards her, and followed her for unnerving amounts of time. Lucille tried her best to avoid this teacher, but she was unwittingly cornered in the school's cafeteria one day, when it should have been closed.
Her teacher revealed herself to be a monster, a wicked harpy! She managed to avoid serious injury for a time, scrambling around the cafeteria, but she had no plan for escape. The scrap eventually ended up in the kitchen, where Lucille grabbed hold of a butcher's cleaver, though she couldn't hit the harpy with it. In the fighting, the harpy knocked down a cupboard, pinning Lucille's arm to a counter. While the harpy wanted to take time dealing Lucille, she was forced to act quickly. She still had the cleaver in hand, and an odd inspiration came over her.
She wouldn't be able to survive without a sacrifice.
In desperation, she severed her left hand, and took advantage of the harpy's surprised reaction to slash at it, suddenly Lucille's strikes were faster, and struck with more brutality. The harpy was injured many times, when the arrival of a satyr forced it to retreat. Her injury was treated, but she couldn't get back her hand, and the satyr who saved her brought her to camp half-blood, where she was claimed by her mother, and received a magical weapon, all without a word to her father.
Weapons: She has an small ax-shaped clip-on earring in her right ear that grows into a full sized one handed celestial bronze ax when she removes it.
Abilities: Lucille's lost of her left hand empowers her right hand. It has enhanced strength and dexterity, and Lucille is proficient with any weapon that can be wielded in one hand.
