The Awakening of a Knight (closed)

POV: Ellie Haney Cloito
I wake up from my nap with my heart pounding and a horrible headache. Ugh another dream of my father, I need to get Chiron to let me go save him. So I head to the big house to convice him which seems to be the 100th time.

Through the open door I can see Chiron talking with Argus, I dont know what there talking about but it seems intense, probably just talking about the nymphs and satyrs going mad. As I enter they stop talking.

"We will continue this later, Argus." says Chiron, and Argus leaves. He looks at me. "Is this what I think it's going to be?"

"You need to let me save him, Chiron. Please!"

He shakes his head. "I told you multiple times you're not going! Especially where he is. Now if there's nothing else, I have things to do." And he heads towards the exit.

I walk in front of it. "I dreamed of Charlie to, you know?" He looks at me surprisingly. "He's going after the Ophiotaurus."

He narrows his eyes. "Nonsense."

"It isn't nonsense, and you know it! He has the fates and he's going after the Ophiotaurus, if the fates don't comply with him he'll have the power to destroy the gods, either way. If you don't send me to stop him, were finished."

"I shall-" he gets cut off by the sound of a door opening he turns around and watches as someone steps out.

It's that Apollo's kid, Aram I believe his name was.

"Bout' time you wake up, you missing all the action." I tell him, then look at Chiron. "I know I am."

"Pfft, only a few weeks, not like the world is ending or anything." I say sarcastically.

"Huh?" He asked.

Chiron narrows his eyes at me. "Why don't you show him around camp, let him get his barrings back."

"Ugh, fine but our conversation isn't over," I look at Aram. "We'll come on, we don't have much time before we have to head to the beach and such."

We walk outside and he blocks the sun with his hand and groans in pain blinking his eyes.

"Welcome to Camp Half-Blood, although I think someone already told you that, this is home of us, demigods. Just avoid the forest unless of course you want to get beat up by crazed satyrs and nymphs, anyways, this is the big house." I point behind us. "It's pretty much the main command centre. Well, come on let me show you around."

We step off the porch and head towards the cabins.

"It's Ellie," I said.

"I'm Aram." He replied, as we countinued towards the cabins.

I smile. "Most people at camp know who you are, including me. No offence but using your powers so early is foolish, but I guess you know that now."

He nodded, and we walked in silence for a little.

"Here we are, the big one is Zeus' cabin, the one beside it is Hera's which is always empty. And then all the other's are the rest of the major gods and a few are minor gods." I pointed to the Apollo's cabin. "That one's Apollo's."

I clapped my hands together. "Further down is the mess hall." I pointed west. "Down there is the arena, armory and stables as well as the strawberry fields." Then I pointed east. "Over there is the climbing wall and the theatre place, never could pronounce the darn name for it. And North of here is the forest."

"Oh, well every now and then we all go to the beach, to swim, tan, exect era." I said, then we were at the stables.
"Well, here's the stables. And I believe that completes our tour? So you had a question."

"Yeah, so Charlie is... Bad now?" He asked

I nodded. "Yep, he has the fates in his possession, don't ask me how, not even I want to know. Anyways he's turned the nymphs and satyrs in the forest mad and ya da ya da. More demigods go and join him at his side. I had a dream of him wanting to get the Ophiotaurus incase the fates don't want to cut treads for him, so either way he has the power... For now."

"Oh," he says. "I always like Charlie."

"I know right, he was cute to, then, Bam! Betrayal." I look at my watch. "We'd best get back, everyone will be heading to the beach soon."

"You got shorts or something somewhere?" I asked Aram.

"I remember I brought some stuff here i don't know where it is jow though." He says.

"If you brought stuff with you then It would be in the big house, come on." And jogged to the big house.

When we entered no one was to be found. "We're late I think, hurry and go see if you have shorts or something."

He came back a few minutes later.

"Um.... Is there anywhere I can change?" He asked.

I scratched my head. "I think there's a bathroom upstairs."

Then he darts upstairs and enters a room. A few moments later he reapers with only his shorts on.

"Oky doky, well we need to stop at the Hermes cabin and get my swimsuit before we head to the beach. Unless of course you'd like to just head there. Doesn't matter to me."

I entered the cabin, it was empty and quiet. So I headed to my bed and grab my swim suit from under it, I looked around again, there was no one. So I started changing.

When I finished I got a tingly feeling down my spine and I got a chill. I spun around quickly to see if anyone was there, still, no one. I must be paranoid.

I walked outside. "Alright let's go." Aram was just starring at me eyes open wide. I snapped my fingers. "Aram?"

He blinked a few times. "Huh?"

"You okay?" I asked.

"I'd ask you the same... You seem paler than you were earlier."

I thought about the scare I had in the cabin.

"I'm always pale, come on let's get to the beach before we get scowled at."
