Basic Instructions on how to create your character:
First of all NO Mary Sues! (Or their male counterparts, Gary Stu's.) These are seemingly perfect characters, with little to no flaws, that tend to god mod, a lot. All the boys/girls want to marry her/him, s/he is talented in every way possible, has super special abilities no one else has, and is never wrong. These characters can get boring to play with, and frustrating for others. If we feel that your character is beginning to portray these attributes, we will PM you and ask that you make some slight modifications to your character, don't worry if you get a PM, these things have happened and once you make the necessary changes you can continue to roleplay like you would do normally!
You can choose to be a demigod (no children of Hera or Artemis please, unless you have a very good story to it), a Huntress of Artemis or a mythological creature such as a nymph, satyr, or cyclops (reply to this or PM me if there's another creature you are unsure of being). You cannot create characters that are more powerful than demigods (again, if you are unsure, reply to this or PM me).
If you want to create more than one character (limit is 3), choose one to be your primary character and address who it is under your signature along the lines of 'Main Playable character: [insert full character name here]'. If you want to roleplay your secondary characters, make sure others know who your roleplaying as at the beginning of the thread with a '[insert name]'s POV'. Please don't roleplay multiple different characters in the same thread. You can mention your characters but only use one POV.
EDIT:NOTICE! If you want to discard a character to make room for another one, you may have the choice to kill them off, or adding them to the NPC list for others to use in their threads as a non-playable character.
When killing off one of your characters:
-Edit your character page at the top with a eulogy for your character, including how they died.
-Contact Porter or Teddy so that we may be able to move their page to the Graveyard board and edit them out of any camp lists they are in.
-Do not kill off more than one character every five months just to keep on creating and killing off more.
-Make sure to close off all threads that character was role playing in.

Full Name:
Age:
Description or Playby: You can choose to either choose a picture of a celebrity (see more in rules) or a description of your character. Description must include eye color, hair color, distinctive features, body type (approximate height and weight)
Sexuality: This can be homosexual, heterosexual, everything in between or nothing at all!
Olympian Parent: if you're a demigod, if not, type in what creature you are instead.
Mortal Parent: Fill in their full name, even if they are deceased. (put deceased in brackets if they are)
Personality: This is where you explain your character's personality traits, likes, dislikes, quirks, flaws (yes, flaws), hobbies, habits, etc.
History: Your character's past life, experiences, relationship with parents, etc.
Weapons: List any weapons your character has. Include if they are a magical item or not.
Abilities: List the abilities your character possesses, for reference click here
Years at camp: Are they on their first? fifth? 9th?
Year-rounder or summer-only camper?:
We will reply to your post either asking you to make changes or to add more detail, and then approve it and move it to the accepted Characters subcategory. (This is also a good place to find examples.) Then you are free to create threads in the Half-Blood or other locations!
