Personality: Ver is someone who you would describe as nice but distant. Her replies are always prompt, clean-cut, and overall don't have anything to do her personality. She judges people constantly, but only in her head. Ver has a photographic memory, and she doesn't let that go to waste. Ver remembers names, birthdates, family, who they socialize with, and fighting styles of other campers, and may freak out others by her talent.
Trust is something that Ver gives out rarely, and she knows it. In actuality, Ver knows that as a demigod, she's probably going to die soon, so she shouldn't give out her friendships so they can get hurt when she dies, so she doesn't let people get close enough so they gain her trust. Beside that, though, she's philosophical and loves quotes.
A thing about the demigoddess is that she's a bit oblivious about other people's feelings. When they're crying or hurt, she can be a bit insensitive, until she knows the reason. That's where the whole "judging" thing comes along-based on your explanation, she'll comfort you or just sit and tell you what you should do in a deadpan voice. Lovely, yeah?
Her hobbies include climbing the rock wall, sparring, singing,-at which she is actually really good at-and archery. Her dislikes are many, but they have people who degrade others, insults about her, gossip, and sun in the very early morning, which is about 3 o'clock.
A trait of hers is that she has a strong taste for justice and freedom, and she's kind but almost never gives out second chances. She's also more a listener then a speaker unless provoked. She's intelligent and composed. Ver is a very stoic person with a very good pokerface, and can pretend to feel a different emotion than the one she's feeling. History: Selene met Epiphron at a library in Manhattan. Drawn to her beauty and kindness, Epiphron began seeing her, and months later, they had a beautiful baby girl who they named Ver, which meant youth. Days later, however, the god left her, and Ver was to be raised by her mother.
As she grew up, the demigoddess and her mother were always distant. Ver reminded Selene so much of her former love that it almost physically pained her to see her. However, she was always kind to her daughter and understanding, but that one thing formed a barrier between them. In school, Ver always got straight A+s though she had dyslexia, and her mother was proud of her. They weren't close, but they still loved the other.
When Ver was nine, a man that her mother was seeing to try to get over Ver's father turned out to be a cyclops. Paralyzed with fear, Ver could only watch as the cyclops snuck up on her mother and tried to kill her to get to Ver. Pushing her aside and screaming for Ver to get out, her mother sacrificed herself so that Ver could live. Running to one of her friend's houses, the demigoddess spilled out everything, only to be met with the shock about her real parentage. Her friend was a saytr, named Finean.
As they rode to camp in the taxi the two had hailed, there were no monsters, and both arrived at camp safely. Ver was claimed at 10, one year later.
Weapons:In Ver's bag, she has 3 silver knives with a set of bobby pins under her watch's face. As an ultimate last resort, she has a small bottle containing one teaspoon of melted polonium, a lethal poison that is radioactive, with two syringes that are ready to inject the poison at any time. The bottle is kept at 255 degrees Celsius, one degree above the melting point so it kept as a liquid. However, since it is magical and therefore charmed, the container has no outwards effect on her in terms of heat or medical issues. The bottle opening uses a lot of her energy, however, and can make her energy be drained until the next day. It saps her abilities away for 21 hours also, she has never used it before. Also, she can only take out a small amount, no more than one hundredth of the liquid in a week. She can run out of the poison.
