POV: Mikael St.Claude

He sighed. It was the only thing to do. He finished up a fresh set of weapons, a few pairs of armor and, even made some really nice shields. Problem was those had been the only thing he was supposed to do that day. His aerial companion, Brand, had been resting up on the perch he had made for itself.

The guy couldn't help but look back to the door ever so often. It was almost like he was fairly desperate to have someone or something come through that door yo break the boredom that was set in front of him.

POV: Aaron Exurgo

Aaron carded a hand through his hair unsurely, frowning. Usually he would go to the Hephaestus kids for this, but today he didn't feel like dealing with people. The son of Demeter pulled out his sword, then sighed. He felt like going against the dummies and perhaps sparring today, but he could probably use the help with different weapons.

He glanced around, then went into the armory, shutting the door behind him. Without acknowledging the guy right next to him, he scanned the shelves for suitable weapons. The guy was some child of the god of the forge, Mike or something. At any rate, the guy seemed desperate for something to do.

At least, from his observation."Any suggestions for close-range weapons in here?"

Main Character: Aaron Exurgo (Your normal stereotype breaking guy whose scowl does not match the fact that he loves baking. Note of advice? Don't steal all the aprons except the pink one.)

Second Character: Gwendolyn Blake(Or the overall history fanatic who has a wicked right hook and throws textbooks.)

Third Character: Belidonne Deinque (The shy girl who you always bump into-literally, and then promptly flirt with in hopes of getting a kiss. You won't.)

Mikael looked over in surprise. Seems like his wish had been answered. He didn't exactly notice the camper but not alot of people tend to stick around the forge anyways. IN ANY CASE. He simply looked at the weapon and answered.

"Well that depends. You want something that's made to tear a monsters flesh or just cut into it? We have alot of stuff here but, it seems you like to wield a sword."

He turned to the shelves of weapons ranging from shortswords to Longswords and even some dagger. Underneath it was some bucklers and polearms lining the floor.

"You have all of these to choose or, you can always have me sharpen up your weapon."

It was almost like he was selling the weapons although they had all been free of course. He seemed more lax then before. It was as if he was relieved that someone had actually come along.

Aaron ran his hands over a sleek blade, not turning around.

"I do own a sword."He remarked shortly, toying with a small knife."There's got to be something. You seem to know a lot about this place."

He picked up a stray shield and placed it on the wall."I don't suppose you have anything for slashing, do you? A weapon that's good for a clean kill, but doesn't need a lot of upkeep. Not a sword, dagger, or knife, as well as a bow."

He turned his gaze to a deadly sharp mace, taking it off and swinging it around."It definitely has to have some weight. I want it to be able to feel powerful under my hands, give me assurance for my protection...but not so heavy that it drags against me."

Aaron put the weapons back, disappearing behind another shelf, but his voice carried clearly."Easy to handle, but I need it to be sleek and dark, covert as possible. I still go out to the mortal world, so nothing too confusing."

The son of Demeter poked the end of a umbrella, ducking quickly when it released a fan of daggers. He walked back over to Mikael, and waited to see if the other guy had something to say back.

Mikey began to think. A slashing weapon that applies a clean cut but isn't anything traditional like a sword or dagger. It was as if he went though a small glossary in his mind of all the types of weapons he had forged and all the types of weapons he had even improved. It had then clicked in his head as he blurted out

"What about a polearm. Like a Glaive or somethin with a bit of reach. Most polearms are good depending on the blade that is attached to it and, they aren't too heavy."

At this point he thought about the fact that the weapon would need to be able to be concealed. It would take abit of work but then he came up with another idea. "What if I make it so it would transform from some normal lookin item into the weapon. Just something that you could just have without anyone giving it a second thought."

He noticed the sound of the umbrella opening and chose to say nothing about it. He simply shot out the few ideas and waited for any ideas in return. From what it seems, this boring day might lighten up.

Instead of making it into some random mortal object, maybe it could be a mini sword for like a figurine, so that it could grow into a normal sword."

The demigod let out a breath and walked behind another held."Since I assume you're a son of Hephaestus, what about metals?"

After some thought he leaned back and nodded "I'd have to see what I could do. The metal that we most work with here is Celestial Bronze. That and I could always make a sleeve holster. It could hold it as allow you to simply flip it out of your sleeve."

Once he noticed Aaron had said his assumption Mikael simply responded "Oh, yeah. I'm Hephaestus' kid."

Mikael had begun to take a look around the shop and began to almost blueprint everything in his mind. This and what he would need for everything including the enchantment. That would take awhile.

Aaron swung over a low cabinet, nodding."Yeah, a sleeve holster would be nice."

When the other boy began to look around, apparently doing his thing, Aaron ran a hand through his hair, unsure of what to do. With no idea, he just plopped down on the floor and pulled out his journal, writing down notes for improving his recipes (and ways to get them out of the cabin without Belidonne stealing them). He was planning a brunch later in the month for his friends, and Isaac and Ace loved strawberry butter. Paired with pound cake or toast?

Lost in the smooth strokes of his pen, he looked up occasionally to see Mikael doing his thing. Bored, he began to sketch. The swirling 'g' in his calligraphy (Yes, he was that bored) became the edge of a bubble, which turned into a encased glass prison. He stretched, desperate for anything to alleviate his boredom.

Mikael waited for Aaron to answer. At one point he looked to the journal and back to Aaron without saying anything.

Blankly, he scribbled down a few words in his journal, flipping the page as he waited for the other boy to start. I wonder if crafting swords comes as naturally as gardening comes. Does he plan everything out or is it like an extension of his body? Is it only in some cases that he needs to take notes?

"Hey, do you plan out swords or just make them from the start?"He asked curiously, tapping his fingers on the floor,

Mikael took a breath and stretched abit. "I never really plan out what the weapon looks like. I just get an idea and let the metal do the work." he said in response

Making sure he had everything he needed he began to head towards the forge. "It's weird to say but, the metal talks to me. More with feelings then voices." Before he was going to continue that statement he stopped and said.

"It's hard to explain so Imma just get to work." Mikael chuckled and went over to start.

(OOC: Oh my gods, I am so sorry-I swear, midterms are out to get me. And V-Day is coming soon, so I can't get into the Christmassy feeling [which is, understandably, epic] and just-chaos. Did you know that baking for 60 people is hectic? I will never look the same way at an egg again. Ever. Sorry, baking rant. I didn't mean all that-Aaron does still love sweets. But maybe not me. That didn't make sense, did it? PS: You are not the worst-I'm sure that one teacher I had is worse. We spent a month on how we were supposed to read stories...and then had a midterm on stuff I wasn't sure even existed.)

Aaron wrote down a couple of notes down in his book, documenting powers of various demigods and how to exploit their weaknesses in a duel. Kind of. It was more in sketch-form and basically how to trip them up in a battle, but not seriously hurt them. He drew a messy circle and human form, then turned the page, sketching out a pretty girl playing the cello-Belidonne, to be exact-and extracted a handful of pens from his person, cleaning up the sketch as he listened to Mikael work methodically.

She would definitely wear something classy-a suit, maybe, with stylish coattails. He swiped a chisel-tip marker carefully over the girl's closed eyelids to represent her flawless eyeliner, then moved onto her cello, which he carefully colored in with golden-brown and bronze colors, then paused. Speaking of his friend, he really needed to get her something for her birthday. Shaking his head, he watched Mikael work, putting his art supplies away.
