(Emma, I'm pretty sure calling for help from stymphalian birds and then completely walking out from it as if they weren't there isn't really realistic. Please keep consistent in your roleplay, it makes things less confusing for poor luke ) (also, children of Hades only tend to have powers on one side of what he represents, usually pluto kids have riches and Hades kids have death, you can mix em up but both is a bit too much)
I walked through the trees, eager to get something else on my mind other than confessions of love or hiding the flag. I kept my shield raised and my sword below me as I crouched through the undergrowth, but guilty thoughts swarmed inside my head and I began to sprint. I really hope Leslie doesn't think I'm a horrible human being right now. I sighed as I continued running, the trees becoming a blur as they raced past me and I jumped through in-the-way branches and obstacles.
I should've handled that better
How?
Maybe you should've lied, said you were batting for the other team, or in a relationship, or both!
Wow, my mind had great ideas. Or maybe it was Leo, who had an empathy link and liked to mess around with my thoughts from time to time. I was so distracted I didn't even realize I was in enemy territory, until I heard a couple of voices in the distances. I almost crapped myself as I crawled under the nearest bush, hoping to have concealed myself to a possible friend or foe. The voices grew louder as they neared my bush, but there was no hint that they knew I was there.
"I can't believe I got put on stupid border patrol by that Liam brat." A familiarly gruff voice called. "Who does he think he is?"
"Well I mean, his cabin is kind of leading this whole thing. It's what they do." Another, more female sounding voice replied.
"Well the dionysus cabin should know that Ares kids are awesome offensively. Not put half the Demeter kids forward, what are they going to do? Strangle the other team to death with some wheat?"
I peered in between the leaves of the bush and identified two campers. Morgan of Demeter cabin and Gary of Ares. They're close friends of mine despite Gary being an idiot, and for the past couple days they've both been getting awfully chummy with each other. I looked closer to see Morgan's arm wrapped around Gary's as they talked. It was a sight to see, seeing as Gary was more than a foot taller than her. Fortunately for me, they were too busy being rambunctious to notice me, and once they passed me, out of sight, I slipped further into enemy territory, keeping a more aware mind this time. Unfortunately for me, it is when I actually try that I start screwing up. Not a few feet past where I escaped the border patrol, a hand flew to my mouth, and I felt the cool tip of a blade pressed against my throat. I tried to lift my sword in defense but the blade pressed itself harder against my neck.
Suddenly I got pulled backwards, my feet kicking up into the air as I plummeted into twigs and leaves and for a split second my whole vision becomes surrounded by bush until I got pulled to the other side of it. The hand released it's grip on me and the blade was gone, I turned to face my perpetrator to realize the blade wasn't a blade at all- it was the tip of an arrow, and my assassins were actually my two dumb friends, Roxy and Fletch, grinning stupidly at me.
"Hey bro, didn't really want to shoot you so stay quiet." Fletch whispered to me. "You're our captive now."
"Di immortales, I owe you twenty bucks, don't I?" Roxy muttered.
