Full Name: Bo Allen Wayne
Age: 16
Description or Playby: Dylan O'Brien
Sexuality: Homosexual
Olympian Parent: Hephaestus
Mortal Parent: Ashley Wayne
Personality: Bo is like pretty much every other Hephaestus kid, he sucks at interacting with people. It's not that he doesn't like people, it is just that he feels really awkward when around them. When someone tries to talk to him, he usually has to distract himself to even try having a conversations, which usually ends up in one word responses or awkward answers. Sometimes he doesn't know what to do so he just blurts out what he is thinking, which makes things even more awkward.
Bo loves spending his time in the armory, yet again another Hephaestus kid trait. He could literally spend every day in there just creating new things and he'd be happy. But that kind of life would get lonely, you know? He loves being around people and hanging out, but he's just really bad at it. One day he hopes to improve his social skills.
Other than that Bo is extremely trusting. If you tell him something, he'll believe you with all his heart and if you ask for help he'll be the first one to jump up and help. But if you betray his trust, he's basically done with you, he will no longer help you or believe anything you say and sometimes he might act like you're not even there and ignore you.
Bo also has a love for his inventions, usually even naming them. Being around machines is more natural for him than being around people, so sometimes he'll just have a conversation with his automotons and get out all his worries, even if they don't reply. Due to this he keeps extremely good care of everything he makes and is extremely protective over his inventions.
History: Bo and Ashley were both born and raised in Austin, Texas. Ashley was a prodigy, she was all set to go to any of her choice of ivy league schools, of course majoring in architecture. She spent all her free time researching historical buildings and monuments, and designing some of her own. One day while she was out buying new supplies for her most recent project she ran into a man who used a cane to walk. There was something off about him, but Ashley couldn't really place it. If she looked at him hard enough she swore that there was a fire in his eyes and scars that lined his body, but she'd blink and he looked perfectly normal. Apologizing for staring at him, the man just smiled and asked her on a date. You can kinda guess the answer.
No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't get a direct answer out of the man or sit him still. He was always moving his hands, creating things out of the silver ware. The mystery of the man kind of added to his charm, and he shared her love for creating things. One thing led to another, and Ann found herself pregnant, which meant that ivy league was out of the question.
This didn't really bother the young mother, she applied to the community college and went in for mechanical engineering and decided to put her dreams on hold while she tried to provide for her kid since the guy was long gone. Growing up, Bo watched as his mom struggled to keep her life in check and make sure that his was as well. He watched her graduate from community college and even eventually going to an actual university and getting the degree she wanted all along. They went from a life of low income to actually making a decent living.
There was never a man in Ann's life again except for Bo, she never really felt the need for one. Bo admired his mother's determination and strived to be like her. Constantly shadowing her around and building things with her. They had several projects together, and everyday after school Bo would get to work on one of them while his mother was at work.
Bo never really had a problem with school, sure he kept moving around and all that but he stayed out of trouble. Which was pretty easy since he stayed away from people, it was just too awkward for him to have friends. He didn't really know what to say, plus the fact that he liked guys. That just made it even more awkward, he hasn't even admitted to anyone his little secret. Of course having no one to admit it to helped a little bit.
Once Bo turned thirteen, a man popped up at their door step. Bo knew there was something off about the guy, but he couldn't place what. The guy always had a hat on and walked around with crutches, but his mom that didn't stop his mom from talking to the guy and eventually marrying him. What made it worse was the guy was always watching Bo, like he thought Bo was up to no good and that bothered Bo a lot. This man was not his father and needed to stop being so weird.
By Bo's fourteenth birthday, Bo met his first monster. It was actually at Bo's birthday, he was just about to blow out his candles with his only party guests being his mom and the step-monster, when a hell hound popped up out of nowhere and decided to destroy the place. That's when the step-monster jumped in and fought back. His hat fell off and there were horns.
Bo was in such a daze that all he could do was stand there with his mouth wide open. Next to him his mom was screaming something about a rabid dog, like she didn't see things for what they really were. Minutes felt like hours, while Bo stared in horror at the whole seen but his step-dad eventually made the thing turn into dust. Looking back at Bo, his step father grabbed him and started heading to his car. He talked to Bo about monsters, greek gods, and half bloods, it all sounded so messed up but after what he saw he couldn't really argue.
Making up some kind of excuse about how Bo got accepted into some kind of fancy boarding school, Bo and his step dad drove off to Camp Half Blood and that's where Bo has been for the past two years. He goes home on winter and fall break, but stays at Camp Half Blood the rest of the time.
