General Info Introduction!
Welcome to Half Blood Heroes!
(Staff currently consists of: Teddy, Porter, Sandra Seal, and rainbowpandasftw)
This is a Percy Jackson RPG that takes place in an AU (Alternate Universe), where Percy Jackson or any of his friends are non existant. These are characters purely made from YOU and other members of the site (besides the characters already established in Greek mythology e.g. Chiron, Mr.D, Zeus, The Minotaur, etc). This AU is made to create our own plots and stories, and branch out from Camp Half-Blood in our own way.

Getting Started
-Create a character (demigod or otherwise)
-Read through the Rules thread and the How To Create Your Character thread
-Create a thread under ‘Create Your Own Characters!’ and have your character approved by a staff BEFORE roleplaying.
-a suggestion for your first thread is that if it’s your character’s first year here, to roleplay your experience of how you came to camp. If they are not new, possibly make your first thread about your character doing their favourite activity, hanging out in their cabin and getting to know their siblings, etc.
-other members will reply with their own character’s point of views, and as all of the members keep participating, the story moves forward. Other member can join in, but be careful, too many members participating in one thread can be difficult to keep track of.
-EDIT: Your character can participate in multiple threads (unless they are part of a quest) but it is recommended to only participate in two or three at a time, or to at least write down which threads you are roleplaying in so you can keep track of your responses.
-Please make sure to leave a response with a similar length as those you are roleplaying with. It can be difficult to type up a lengthy post with only a couple of sentences in response!
-This keeps going until the conflict is resolved (or anything you needed to get done was done) or you have changed locations and topic. Please add (CLOSED) to the end of the subject line whenever you finish the thread.
-Please try your best to use correct spelling and grammar. We understand if you misspell something or the grammar might be a bit off, but it can’t be skewed to the point where you can’t understand it. Admins are happy to help edit your thread if we think that it needs some help and give you pointers so you can continue to thrive in the roleplay world.
-if someone is breaking the rules, don’t ‘go along with it’ (especially in cases of god modding) tell them to stop or contact one of the staff and we’ll warn them. If you’re not sure, message us anyways and we’ll determine it.
-If someone accidentally power plays your character, it could easily be an accident, if you know that your character would NOT act that way, message them first asking them if they can fix it, if they ignore your message, THEN talk to us.
-It is okay if a thread goes beyond the location that you were roleplaying in, as long as the location-change is reasonable.
-if you’re in an active thread, and you know that you will be unable to reply for more than a week, please contact the members of your thread or the staff to warn them in advance.
-If you hold an important role, such as cabin counselor, you will be replaced if you become inactive for more than two months. If you know you won't be able to participate for more than two months, contact and the staff.
