I nodded in agreement with Luke, trying to get my mind off the fact that he still wanted to know about my love life. I didn't blame him, gossiping wasn't only an activity for Aphrodite children. It was an activity for teenagers too. I thought about Liam, and how I didn't know him at all. The first time I had seen the guy it had taken me less than a minute to raise an arrow and aim it at his head. It hadn't been his fault, I knew that. Charlie had a hold of a very sensitive part of his mind, and after he'd gotten better he had become a super chill person. I knew there was a history between he and Finn that Finn didn't like to talk about much, so I had no idea what had happened. I slipped on my Timberland boots and rolled up the cuffs of my jeans so they wouldn't bunch up at the bottom as much. I stood up straight and readjusted the quarter sleeves on my favourite beige shirt as I waited for Luke to be done tying his shoes. I liked to look clean and presentable. I brushed my fingers through my hair, not bothering with the short mess. It added a sort of casual feel to my appearance, at least that's what I thought. Once he stood up we made our way to the door. We both pushed it so that no one would be making a face plant onto the cabin porch. It swung open smoothly, and we made our way out into the sunshiny day. I took in a breath of fresh camp air. I followed Luke towards the Dionysus cabin, walking beside him. I decided he had a better relationship with the boy than I did, so he would be doing most of the talking. When we got to the Cabin Luke paused, as if he was trying to figure out what he was going to say. I waited for him to collect his thoughts before he went knocking on the grape vine lined door.
